At least one thing you can say for the Dungeoneers, we made a game of it.

Piranhas didn't even score a single point in their match! At least our match was a tight game!

We missed four field goal opportunities. If there is anyone to blame it would be him. We should have won the game by a field goal.

well..... it should have been closer yes. missing 4 is pretty bad luck. but 3 where from over 40 (in which your kicker is 0 for his last 4 going into this game) and 50% on the year from that range. The three were from 45,47,47.5. so they where in the upper half of the 40-49 range. (last week he also missed a 47.5 yarder.)

missing the 22 yarder ya. that is bumb luck. But expecting him to make all 3 from 45+ yards? He hasn't made one from that distance yet in his career.... (his 5 that he made from 40+ where all under 45)

so I see it as a good hard fought game by two really good teams. we both kept each other out of the endzone (and considering the QBs playing that is something for both teams to be proud with)

Good point. '

The good thing for us is to work on improvement weak spots on our offense and defense. Which means trying some newer things and see if they work.
Neways,Congradulations and I hope your team wins it all.

thanks,
that is the nice things with scrimmages. you can really try things out. I took over OC duties on a bad USA AAA team. and have been working on them during these scrimmages to really find their strengths. I think they should add a preseason type game or two similar to these scrimmages for reight before the season starts to help people who are just getting teams.

It is hard when you are fighting for a playoff spot to try things
