bro, i think you might overvalue chemistry a little bit...a great gameplan and solid players should trump all...Sin havent been killing teams based on their chemistry...they just generally have an amazingly quick team...if you dont believe me watch the games they have played lately...even the DE's look like they could be a top return man in the league...

I still think they beat you by 40. And I think chemistry this season is a huge deal. Why else did the sin start slow and then go to dominating teams. Why did you guys start hot and get worse. Why are the Pwents undefeated with guys who are on average probably 1 to 3 levels lower than the Monkeys?

Maybe it is just better player builds. But the one common theme I've seen is teams with higher chemistry are getting stronger. Teams with worse chemistry have seemed to be more vulnerable.

You can try to reason why that's not how it is because it will make you feel better for wrecking your chemistry, but it doesn't change the facts.

IMO if the Monkeys had the same chemistry as the 2 teams they faced, no way they lose either game.

Pretty shocked at the Cats losing today...the crazy part is if you look at the stats you would have still thought the Cats were winners..crazy stuff...

We had to kick five FGs today. On three of those, we got right down to the goal line and couldn't punch it in. If we could have got a TD on any one of those five FGs, then that last drive of theirs would have been meaningless. Even so, we went down gunning there at the end. If we would have had another half minute or so at the end of the game we might have been able to move a little further down and kick a sixth FG to win the game.

And yes, we were ahead in most statistics categories...all except for that MOST important one...the score.

It was the Raiders who deserved the win today. They moved the ball when it really counted and pulled off a classic come-from-behind victory...VERY nice.

Cheers to the Raiders.

I am shocked at the Wildcats lose as well. The Wildcats are the only team that beat us soundly. Even the Pewnts only beat us by 7 points.

Are they really that quick or is everyone else that slow?

I dont know...everyone on your defense looks like they are on crack cocaine out there thats for sure...

And then there is the Taints who started off hot and went cold late...their chemistry is all in the gold and they have pretty well leveled players..

The Buenes Aires Mauraders had solid chemistry when we played them...

Granted im not saying we for sure are going to stay with the Sin...but chemistry will only play a huge part if we start off with an early turnover.

P.S...we never got worse on defense...offensively we lost our best WR and have been working with less of an offense since...thus the reasoning why we arent killing teams with TD's instead of FG's...

What do you base that on?

To me that's probably too complex. I bet the chemistry is just some mulitplier to the players stats.

Edit: A small multiplier. like good chemistry = 5% and bad = -5% or something like that. Just like play intesity.

First of all no disrespect to the Pewnts but,

Quiet frankly I don't know why the Pewnts aren't scared to death of us. We only lost 13-7. 3.26 to go in the 4th 3rd and 10.5 and we threw a 10.5 yd completion. The computer punted.

We had two fumbles and they downed two punts on the one. I have yet to see this happen again in two seasons.

That comment about playing tougher teams afterwards and winning is meaningless. We held you to your lowest point total by more than 10 points.

I don't KNOW that we will win, but I sure as hell THINK we will.

Not cocky. Confident.

I still think a solid gameplan and great players should overcome all..i guess we will see tomorrow...obviously if the Sin crushes the shit out of us there might be a chemistry issue...

I dont know...good luck in your game bro...hope we meet Monday for game 2.

ON chem Bort had posted that it affected some of the players Football skills a max of 9% So if your team was a 10 at chem(the lowest possible) it would knock skills down 9%, while if your opponent was at an 80 for chem they would only be knocked down 2%. So if a player on the lower team had a catching of 40 it would drop to 36.4 and the player on the higher teams would only drop to a 39.2.

my thoughts are...where do you place overall? ST's? Is it double the effect on the offense and defense? If it is double, we are in a bit of trouble...however if it not...i believe that would put us nearly equal in level with the Sin at most positions.

im willing to guess that overall doesnt drop your offense and defense since our defense has stayed pretty consistant throughout the season...

Things are shaping up just like the Sharks predicted so far. We've got a tough re-match against the Tigers. We'll see if the home field advantage can put us over the top this time. Glad to see the prediction in our favor though! Good luck Tigers.

This should be a tough game. To be honest, it's gonna take a lot of effort to win this one. I think either team could win this one and I don't expect it to be a shootout. Good luck Sharks.
