Why do you stop at 23 and then reserves? Don't you need 24 for two leagues?

I was going to be playing in both leagues... instead of listing myself twice, I just put up 23 teams.
If we do get close enough to 3 leagues, I'm sure a couple guys wouldn't mind playing in two also!

I can go outside the APL as well if need be... I had a MOD and a few outside Africa players in this last season.

I'm pumped... Basketball and Hockey are over... I need to get my fix from something and baseball doesn't do it for me.

Yes they do, but it's crap. Just like their baseball and basketball one's.

Off topic, Bobby, you should've swtched to this avatar sooner. The last one I remember you having wasn't my type

Back on topic, I prefer ESPN's FF over yahoo's but either works.

Yahoo is actually my favorite ff league. First year I did ESPN (I had two leagues) I just stopped like midseason.

Edit: And fantasy football is not real football. The only time I'm coaxed into doing one is when there's a good amount of $$ involved. I feel like it takes away from the game because you're putting the individual over the team. Also, in the way most league points work, a defense getting two pick sixes and giving up like 21 points is way better than a defense pitching a shutout without any turnovers. I'm a Steelers fan so you can figure how I feel about that.

However, I have been able to call some things. Picked LJ in '07 then traded him for a few really good players. I forget which players (I think Gates, a solid #1 WR, and MJD or something) but I remember EVERYONE thought I was an idiot, and I was laughing the entire season at them.

I traded Frank Gore for MJD and a solid WR in '07 and laughed the rest of the season as I tore everyone else up.

Damn soapbox, your a Steelers fan? lol
I live in Pittsburgh... the City is crazy for their football and hockey team. Baseball is a different story though....

Anyways...
Maybe we should do these drafts by experience? I'd rather have the best of the best playing one another, and then the beginners/casual players battling it out?

I love the competition... I'd like the face the best you guys have to offer.

I think it adds to the game. You can have the two most horrible teams playing each other and all of a sudden a game you normally wouldn't care about has some meaning.

I'm with Wombat on this one... I've always loved football, but when fantasy came around, all of a sudden, I knew just about every weapon on every team! I was even more interested in football at that point. Seeing if players would pan out, who's injured, what's available... Like Wombat said, two of the worst teams could be on TV... but if one or two of the starting players are on your fantasy roster (Calvin Johnson in Detroit for instance), your going to watch the game (if your into fantasy football).

Makes it more fun for me...

I do both money and free leagues... as long as the competition is there, I'm into both!
I hate to lose, so I always stay on top of it.
