One ballot per team. There will be a 1st Team, 2nd Team, and Honorable Mention for each position. 1st team selections will get 5pts, 2nd team selections 3pts, and 3rd team selections 1pt. There will be a (1st place votes received) for each player.

Because for O-Tackle for example you will have two first team selections, two second team selections, and 1 honorable mention.

Takes 2 OTs to field a team, two guards, two CBs, etc.

fyi - you don't have the best rushing attack in your conference, let alone the league and Hodges did not lead the league in rushing.

True, you'd get the #1 and #2 and a honorable mention that way.

But in my system you'd get 2 starting OTs, 2 backup OTs, and 1 honorable mention "rover" OT.

Same for WR. In my system you get your 2 starting WRs, 2 backup WRs and 1 rover honorable mention.

The other way you'd just get 2 OTs and an honorable mention. Not enough to fill out a 1st team, 2nd team, and honorable mention.

the 4th and 5th selections get no points,.....

No need to have backups...

Just 22 starters a kicker a punter and a pr/kr for west and east

Dont need to make it a 5 hours history project

In other words, to get 5 total Offensive Tackles (2 1st Team, 2 2nd Team, and 1 Hon Mention) you have to have people vote for 5.

Top 2 vote getters are your 1st Team tackles
#3 and #4 vote getters are your 2nd Team tackles
and the #5 guy is your honorable mention.

So we don't want a 1st and 2nd team? That's what I was shooting for. Y'all let me know. If we don't want 1st and 2nd team I can revise it to just get starters and an Hon. Mention at each position.

Kidding yourselves if you think anyone who has not posted a list would fill that out.

That's why I'm going to send it to teams GMs as well. And remember, I'm just doing this for the West.

1 selection for each team. If I get an owner AND a GM reply then the owner's counts.

I agree, let's just do a 1st team and Hon Mention. Nobody will go out of their way to vote for a full 1st and 2nd Team.
