Oct.... nevermind I'll tell ya after this game lol BUT I agree with Burt. at higher levels you really need the bonuses that SA's provide. This coming from my experience with my punter (due mainly to Burt and co.'s awesome leadership) and my CB that's probly built like Crypto and Neo's builds, just all over the place lol.

Didn't you suggest punters train in THROWING in another forum lol... I tried that last lvl up

punter's are a special case. they get a lot of bang for their SA buck
on other players, it really depends on the SA, the position, and the level.

for me, I generally avoid SAs (other than the custom bonus) until the mid-high 20's
then, depending on the player, I slowly start putting pts in SAs.

I (like many others) put a ton of SAs into my Season 2 created NT BigHands Johnson.
It took several seasons for him to grow into his SAs

yeah it doesn't seem like anything I do will stop me from kicking 70 yards every once in a while lol. But even my CB I get the same case of confusion as Crypto and his brother there, no clue what's working but something is since he got 85 tackles and 75 deflections lol. (and no he doesn't blitz much nor gets 'picked on', he just works the busy side of the feild I guess... and the D line sucks on that team so HBs get to the second lvl often... and tons of stamina so he usually gets the tackle on special teams)

Yah when I created THL I put points into SA's Luckily I knew I wanted a fast/agile player so the rest went into Speed and Agility, that kept him viable till his SA's started kicking in after Speed and Agility got capped.

CB's, like punters are also a special breed when it comes to build. There are so many SA's and VA's that boost their speed/agility to let them catch up to speedy receivers, that they can afford to put a few more points into tackling, and jumping.

My P has 5-8-9 SAs actually, I know those are huge for punter. His build is great all around, though, hence 4 straight trophies since getting out of the d-leagues =)

On thing I've thought was funny is when you get a Safety what get's a ton of tackles. Does it mean he's really good or that the D-Line is really bad??

Safeties on crummy teams always get the tackling awards. Clearly the d-line is just pancaked all game, the LBs are too slow to meet the HB, and the CBs are too slow to keep up with the WRs. Safety will get so many tackles it is ridiculous.

A few seasons ago, we had a LB lead the league in tackles on a 12-4 team in USA A5. Very competitive team. He was so beastly good, somehow managed to out-tackle all of the crummy team safeties Just all over the place (we since moved that team over to 'the wheatfield' and have gone from EEA7 to what should be pro next season in just 4 seasons!)

Erm I lied, I still haven't done any recruiting, and it looks like we're adding 10 or so players to our roster. I <3 being a big name on the forums in GLB, seems the agents just come to me

What do you mean? Dammit! You should show some respect for your elders... I have been playing this game since you were a sprinkle in your daddies pie! My builds are second to none, and I have the best goalie in the whole game of baseball here!
