I agree with you Capone on one front,there are many match ups that could go either way. For us, or any other team to assume they are a lock for the finals, they would be morons, I will say we will be ready for every game. and when the seasons over, We will continue to play it one game at a time. If we are beaten, that team will be better than we are, not a game plan, or a Gm made us lose or the sun was in our eyes.

I could say the same thing about every team in the playoffs, But it would be a guess for all but maybe a few in each league, I could not make that quote for either leagues top 4, that would make me look like an idiot... No Nostodamus points for you.

Im very tired after back to back nights with no sleep and alot of drinking. So if reading the following makes no sense at all, then please just scroll past it - like I know alot of people will without reading this.

I can understand why Sos4 is valid, we all saw the Giants come into the playoffs with a good string of games and they kept it going - Momentum. The thing I dont understand though, is with us having beat LRC within the last 4 games, that their sos4 can elevate them above us. Still, no power ranking with respect for itself would have placed the Giants over the Patriots :-)

What I think, is that SoS4 shouldnt be as deciding a factor late in the season, as early in the season. It helped weeding out the people bottomfeeding. Now it can reflect if a team is coming into the playoffs hot or not - and that in my opinion is important, but not as important as how your team has performed over the entire season. Not taking anything from the Cajuns, they have had a strong season.

I don't think it'd be that easy of a matchup facing the top teams against each other, assuming you did it right. LRC-BHB would be very interesting, as BHBs defense would stop a slowing LRC offense. I said all of that without including my own team as I don't know where we fit yet. If we beat ADD soundly, I fully expect to be able to claim "elite status" and be able to move up in that ladder sawedust posted. Beat BHB, lost to Prague by a minimal score and beat ADD? I don't see how it would be possible to keep us in fifth there or on a sub tier to the aforementioned teams. Prague's defense is impressive, it's offense is not. If forced to keep up, I doubt it could. It's just that most teams have not forced Prague to keep up due to their defense. The Zeta teams could.



People were saying the same thinga about us playing DET and BHB... but no one has anything further to say about our offense keeping pace. Our offense only needs to put up 17. And our offense is better now than earlier in the year.

Another thing to note is that LRC and SGA have offenses similar to BHB. We found a way to keep BHB to 10. We can do that to any of those teams as well.

Finally, the numbers in Zeta are bloated. Those teams are very good, no question... but while we have 2 teams in Alpha that are blowout teams, they have 5-6. Of course their offenses are going to look stronger. So trust me when I say we will not be blown out by ANY team in this league.

PS - cap, I understand, because people bait you constantly (and you fall for it EVERY TIME, LOL), that you were baiting me. But many people share the same thought that you do, so we need to set the record straight.

Bah. All of this discussion over who is as good as each other bores me. Settle it on the field. We all have opinions on the teams and it's fun to express them to see the arguments, but for now it's time to just let the teams speak for themselves.

If DET beats ADD or vice versa, they deserve all the credit for beating a top Alpha team. It doesn't matter what they are ranked according to sawedust's opinion or power rankings, they both are top 5 teams with a solid season so far. We can sit here all day long and critique each other but that is a waste of time and boring.

If PRA goes out and wins versus Zeta or vice versa, it's the same deal. You can't insult a team because it lost to another elite team. Having different levels of "elite" is just a wasted effort. Any team can win on any given day, fuck the formulas.

Good luck to all in this season, the playoffs and any games thereafter.

Actually cap's posts have been at times very entertaining to read unlike some others who I just think are FI's.

I just believe in respecting others, you can be proud and have confidence in your team with out being a dick IMHO!

I don't know how this affects your arguments... but you should weigh whose best by how they both competed against the other playoff teams in the division.

How'd you each do against SGA, Windy City, San Jose, Austin, and Nizhny (we don't know which 8-6 team will be in the playoffs, so you'll both have to be content with those 5 games). Anyway, THAT is how you can determine who is the better QB
