Look head, there is nothing that can be done about CPU's getting into the playoffs....it's just how this league was last season. Now go back to your soap box and stick to bashing cwrujosh, you will have better luck with that even though the crush you have on the chubbys is kinda weird.

Who's chest pumping? My team gets accused of not being any good because they got stuck in A. Then you sit there and whine we "have levels". Why the hell do you think we got bounced out of the playoffs in thr first round?

*gasp* The other teams has 10+ levels on us. No one is thumping chests, just correcting your obvious ignorance on the subject. Go back and look at evenly leveled teams and my W/L record.

thanks, i was in vegas for a few days during the offseason so my GMs deserve a lot of the credit, outlaw in particular. and FWIW you guys have a lot of weapons, we do have a skill advantage of you this season but i think if you guys played your cards right you could still beat us, i wouldnt be surprised if you finish in the top 4 even though you didnt do many personnel upgrades.

I appreciate it. We are definitely taking the long-term approach here, I only replaced who we lost and some non-boosters.

Nice job promoted teams. We feel that we will follow the route of the Wizards and other teams here that thrived the year after promotion. We'll see you guys soon enough in AA.

Here's how I did - I was mostly wrong about the Aggies and the Knights. Let this once again prove that since Day 1 I stated how good I thought the Chubby Wizards were.

Tier 1 (These teams will finish in the top four teams)

Kaunas Archangels (SORT OF RIGHT)
The Transformers (RIGHT)
FOUR HORSEMEN (SORT OF RIGHT)
Warsaw Wizards (SORT OF RIGHT)
Rochester Raccoons (SORT OF RIGHT)

Tier 3 (These teams have an outside shot at a lower playoff seed)

Siberia .50 Cal (RIGHT)
Deutschland Dööm (RIGHT)
Budapest Brutality (RIGHT)

Tier 4 (These teams will not compete for a playoff spot this year)

Smashing Skulls (RIGHT)
Slovenia Snowmen (RIGHT)

You can't be serious. You said "I don't think any team other than the top four I listed has a shot at hosting a playoff game. My pick to win the conference is the Aggies, but honestly any of the top four teams can win the conference. Expect 12+ wins from each of these teams." And about the 2nd tier, "Barring any minor miracle, none of these teams should net a win against the top four. I don't expect more than 9 wins out of any of these teams."

Now you're arguing you were somewhat right? What a joke. Here's a real analysis of your picks:

Bucharest Beasts Still a chance to make the top four. Still a chance to win 12 games. Already 3 "minor miracles" performed against them.
Zheleznovodsk Chubby Wizards Hey you got one. This team is well built and purpose built, but I still don't think they'll win it all. They've been so successful for two reasons. One, most of these slow-built teams like ours have neglected strength and tackling and their team just eats that shit up. As shown against Warsaw though, a creative DC with a strong defense can shut them down. Two, they really do have a great defense. With little doubt in my mind, they have the best defense in the league.
Buffalo Reverends How can this be sorta right? They will not finish top 4 and will not win 12 games. With 3 winnable games down the stretch, they'll get in the playoffs, but at best a 7 seed.

Just a point of contention with this statement....Chubby Wizards ARE a slow build team as well....just built differently then the rest of the cookie cutter slow builds out there.

Uh-huh (rolls eyes).

Since you can't read between the lines, I'll just say it for you - I WAS WRONG ABOUT THIS SEASON. I made off the cuff predictions based on no games being played, having never seen most of these teams. At least I had the balls to make any predictions. It's real easy to make criticisms when you don't put yourself out there.

That's fine by me, frankly, all I really care is about the long-term success of my own team. We're happy to follow in the footsteps of teams like the Chubby Wizards and struggle our first season before rolling in our second. This is an uncapped league, we had a significant level disadvantage.

So congratulations, I made wrong predictions. Who cares.
