Well to be honest with you, if you spend time reading the other league forums it is well known that people throw games to make sure they dont get promoted. Im not saying CY threw the game and didnt get beat but still it is a problem with the game.

No one wants to play against a team that is 20 levels higher than you. We want to play teams that are within 3-5 levels so that we can really actually having a chance at a trophy.

I mean I could go out right now and gut a team and bring level 50 players down to A league and wipe the floor with everyone, then do it again next season. No one would ever win a EE A trophy

But the fact is, all this started over the Smexies, and people think Mith is oh-so cool, because hes copying them?

When infact he is not copying them, because he lost to the Blues, a team that was equal to him, they lost didnt get a trophy this season, and are trophy mongers, only seeking more..

So what I am saying, he came in here with his team, made 34 Personal threads about peoples teams and players, talking crap about winning trophies, he didnt win it this year, what does he do? The next easiest thing to get a trophy.

You wanna be a GM on his team? He might let you.

How am i copying what the Smexies did? Were going from a league thats suggests level 55 players to one that suggests level 34 players. If anything were doing EXACTLY what Bort suggests and playing within a league that we should be. We'll be out leveled there too.

Once again, what i did is legal. Just because most of you wouldnt do it or think its lame doesnt make it illegal to do. My team wont be sold and will compete this season in EEAA. Were just going to sign other agents to play on it who have higher levels than what were on the team. So yah, look forward seeing a CY team that will have a roster of higher level players.

We dont play this game to go 8-8 and have our agents go inactive. We dont pay money for 8-8. We play to win. No way in hell i'm going to allow my agents to have to sit through a terrible season and maybe lose interest in GLB. Besides, my kid has been wanting his team to win for awhile now and he logs on daily wondering if their gonna win. This should make him happy. He's pretty stoked about it. Thats all i care about is my agents and my kid. Its pretty obvious that i dont play this game for you guys. I have fun knowing that i'm better at GLB than you nerds. It pleasures me to know that some of you headbutt your keyboards and have broken your mouse over me lol.

Godzirra, I'm not crying in the slightest over MITH and his "plight". This "plight" effects every team in GLB that doesn't win the trophy but does well enough to get promoted. The Seahawks came in fourth IIRC in Season 7 in Zeta, got promoted, and didn't do as well in EEAA1. So what? You don't win every season and you don't win immediately after promotion. The point of the game is you play in your league, do decent, then get promoted and work hard in the next level up. If you get a trophy on the way up, so be it. But if you don't get a trophy, you've moved up a level and are one step closer to getting to Pro where winning a trophy really means something.

I could bitch and whine about my team having to compete in EEA when it was the bottom tier and uncapped, while teams like CKT and CY got to start on level competition, pay their players less, focus on their stadiums, yadda yadda. We started in an uncapped EEA when there was no BBB. I had low level teens and twenties as my players when we first got the Dynasty in Season 6. I didn't bitch and moan and cry that I didn't get a trophy, nor did I go SSB and get beat 0-16 every season for a few seasons, nor have I tried to do poorly to get relegated to BBB so we could build up the stadium and then take every trophy.

Why not? Because the game is about trying to compete given you situation. I don't find it fun trying to spend all my time gaming the system- I want to play football with my guys, have some fun conversations, and in the end have a good time. If I wanted to game a football sim and win as my only goal, I'd play something that has cheat codes instead of GLB.

Zeta had a lot of great teams in Season 8 that were pretty evenly matched, despite level differences, build differences, etc. The fact that we beat teams that ended the season ranked above us tells me that a lot of it came down to gameplanning and Sean and the Shortbus wholly out-gameplanned in the first round of the playoffs. They earned their win and their trophy, and unlike us, they have a good stadium and the players to keep competing upwards. We get another season to get our stadium ready here; so be it. But if we had done a little better and been promoted, I wouldn't care. We'd work to compete with what we had, work to recruit talent, and try to get our gameplans cooked up. If it took us a few seasons to be competitive, so be it- that's what it took in EEA before the BBBs came.

One thing I will not do is bitch and complain and then throw games intentionally in order to stay in my level (or get relegated). I want teams to know they earn their win or loss against us. In the end, our goal is to eventually move our team up and get them to the Pros- if it takes longer or shorter, getting there is the fun, not getting little trophy .gifs on the way up.

My ultimate question, since MITH only cares about winning trophies, is what is MITh gonna do if his no team (er, I mean his "son's" team) gonna do if he wins EEBBB, then EEA, and then suddenly runs into the same issue in EEAA? He gonna complain, fold his team again, and then start over? Likely. Because all he cares about are little trophy .gifs in the lower leagues instead of trying to get up to Pro and being competitive there, which is what the goal of the game is supposed to be.

My guess is that next season, Mith is re-signing all of the players to CY after they get dropped down.

And as I said previously, teams that got promoted from EEA1, like CKT and Shortbus, are going to do well in EEAA (i.e., you're going to "make some noise" up there). They've moved up quite a few of the teams here that were already competitive with each other and you guys have great stadium advantage. I wouldn't be surprised to see you guys duke it into the playoffs and potentially win it all. Part of me hopes you guys just do OK though, because I'd like to see what the Dynasty can do against you guys once we get our act together this coming season.

Until then, we enjoy playing more games against the Wolfpack- we seem to always draw them for all our cross-conference games.

Vlady, I take your stance too as far as manning up and playing in your league. But my point the whole time was the two I just made.

1. Mith is doing what many teams do. Big deal.
2. People are crying about him after they told him not to cry about similar shit. Hypocrites crying about him being a hypocrite.

Now if you guys can drop Mith for a second... this is my own thoughts on the subject that ruined Mith... LOL...

I also believe it is completely fucked up that CKT (lvl 29) will be playing with a league full of 50's. And nowhere in your long winded post did you mention a single scenario that will be similar to what CKT (and yes CY too) will have to go thru next season. And that is a mediocre team who went a whopping 1-1 in the playoffs WOW, will get promoted to a level 50 league... with recommended levels of up to 64 (I think). What business does a team, that goes 14-4 in an even league, have by moving to a level 50 league? CKT will take the high road though and put up with a 0-16 season. Which means we will probably be demoted back to EEA#1 next season. But don't for a second think any example you made is similar to a 29 team playing 16 games in a 50 league.

But I guess you hypocrites will just say I'm crying. Now off I go to get 16 ass whoopings, and we'll see you back in EEA#1 next season. Good luck.
