personally speaking for me, league title is far greater than any tournament and I'm as big a tournament guy as there is.

That being said, I'm quite fine with us being #2 and as I said Monmouth had as good a season as any team ever has - they took on all challengers, many of whom are in this top 25, and lost a mere three games and one of the losses was the first game of the season.

LOL, apparently SI has given up trying to make a conference final in the CPL, so he's downgraded to Europe AA, which is right above mite football.

as a follow up, having the Gamblers as #2 is no shot at them. They had a hell of year and Hazy is a great owner and I have a ton of respect for him and his team.

I'd probably agree with MEM over LVG. No offense to LVG of course, who deserve their spot and #2, but MEM took on all comers all season long likely getting the best shot from every team. It looks like Hazy understands that MEM's top spot is based on their entire season's work and just not USAPL playoffs. Not sure I'd want to play a team that beat MEM

I will say that WSI is overrated. Shame on them for ducking the Wolfpack in the Landry.

oh ya...and Hazy's team has the gold trophy....no gold trophy to MEM for finishing atop this rankings.

This is true. I don't think many committee members were even aware of this. I think WSI was scared .

Well I have no problem with MEM over LVG. Tbh LVG came outta no where and for me at least had barely (if at all) cracked the top 25 prior to playoffs. MEM was unstoppable all season. And it's not like MEM lost the Championship game to the sisters of the poor. They lost to the team that jumped up to #2. Not a terrible loss imo.

So, we can all agree...MEM #1? Good job to the voters

Good rankings imho.

To be honest, I think I summed up my feelings on the LVG vs. MEM debate in my comments. No one was a clear #1 because no one won a major tourney AND a league Championship. Big fan of hazy and he knows that. Also a big fan of Stobie and his team. The bottom line is MEM had a tremendous body of work. They won the PWT, Badgers, finished runners-up in USA, and finished 3rd in Hazy's. LVG is a great team as is WSI, Drinkin, and Wolfpack. All 5 of those teams have some argument for the best team in GLB in my mind. But in the end, I just think MEM did more in total. LVG got them in the Championship and I'm sure hazy is fine being #2 in our poll while getting the most #1 votes and winning the USA Gold.

At least the PWT championship game was closer than the NCAA one so far, ugh.
