actually we had 57 rushing yards on 17 carries, 20 carries for 43 factoring sacks.

And to the people calling us out for SISlamming: Listen, I fucking hate this gameplan more than anybody on Earth. I fought against it for all of Season 8. You think I didn't know what Halifax was going to do when we lost to them? Or Lincoln? How about when Spicewood took us to 9-6 or LOL came within a couple yards and a bad AI setting of beating us? We've been getting SISlammed all fucking year, and I've tried just about every gameplan I know to not do it.
But we've got to assume that we're going to continue getting SISlammed every fucking game, and I have a responsibility to the agents on my team, to the DC who is dealing 59 fucking SI Slams per game from Halifax, and to the owner who brought me on to put our team in the best position to win. After the Lincoln debacle, it was pretty apparent that doing the same thing was the only way I could fulfill my responsibility. I might hate it, but I sure as fuck ain't apologizing for it to a bunch of guys we didn't even play.
Naut, you do what have to do to win, no need to justify it. We all have one goal and if anyone tries to deny it they are full of shit. We run a multiple offense because it works for us and if we think we can win with the strong I slam, we will do that shit to. Every season GLB has some huge issue that everyone cries about, Last year it was the agile DE’s. The season before it was the DE’s, now the Strong I slam, so just chalk this one up to a Bort funk and get over it.

i just looked at some of the game, and I didn't realize your defenders bouncing off our RB's had anything to do with the play call.
We are a running team, always have been, going back for seasons upon seasons.
If we ever had a decent QB we might pass more (hehe Kutty), or one that isn't a selfish jackass (BigTurd).
Like Lombardi said we'll tell you what is coming, if we block it right, it wont matter

We messed with the slam some as well. My two coordinators and I just decided that we weren't going to it full time, no matter what. We set a build plan out as a fairly balanced team for seasons now, and just couldn't bring it to a full compromise to reosort to hammering it away. It may have been our undoing, but feel we're set alright once the SIM straightens out. I really don't blame teams for using it though. Gotta do what you need to do to win.
