Who cares how long it took me. Seeing as we have one of the best defenses in the A7 I can say I'm doing a pretty damn good job. Maybe you should go help your team in Western Europe A b/c i'm sure they care more about your opinions than we do. Nice job with the other two teams you DC for though. Must be nice playing in a league full of cpu's and gut jobs. Go play in a real league with other teams who actually have real players then you can tell me how to GM.

first, i dont DC that team in A7 i just post on their board. i do DC the other 2. and why you ask me who i am like that matters? do you think football was invented when GLB started? i wont go into details but you were ill prepared for that to say the least. you took one on the chin and now you learned something. i think it happens to all of us. and while my teams arent that old yet i do have to go against some real good coordinators. the players arent as fast but the premise is the same.

80 carries, 58 sacks, 28 FF, the list goes on...
There are many things in this game that aren't real. Why is it now such a travesty?
All of a sudden the game needs to be fixed. It's needed to be fixed for a while, not just now that TALLAHASSEE got popped.
This is an incredibly competitive league and the amazing thing is the least impressive contender has the best record.
The playoffs should be epic!
I'm glad we're on the A7 slow build team together cause I love having this much testostrone flying around. Let's get week 16 out of the way and get after it!

I asked who you were b/c generally people don't go wandering through the forums looking at random leagues to give their opinions and put others down. How in the fuck can you guess that a team will try and run 80 times using the same damn play over and over again? I was "i'll prepared"? I've been playing GLB since season 1 and been a DC since season 2. Had I guessed that PM was going to do the HB slam 80 times and put all of my efforts into stopping that and they ended up getting shut out b/c of it, you wouldn't see me or anybody from the Thunder on here questioning PM's playcalling. Their QB has thrown 58 TD passes compared to 2 ints. They knew we ran the Quarter alot so obviously they ran the ball. We've used that same defense against every other team in the league and it's slowed down the run enough so we can at least get a lead then it forces them to pass to catch up. It didn't work this game. Oh no, you don't have to continually state how it was a bad decision by me and how I was being cocky. You go with what has worked in the past.

You never saw the Detroit Lions say oh.....well everyone knows Barry Sanders is good so we'll just not use him this game and completely change our game plan even though it works every week.

You haven't had to go against anybody yet! 3/4 of the teams you guys have played for both of those teams have had cpu players galore. Quite a few are cpu owned and the others don't even have a GM. The game completely changes once you get up to this high of a level. Comparing level 20's who haven't even finished with their base stats yet with level 50's who are at the 5 and 6 cap for some positions is ridiculous.

im not here randomly i know guys on PM. and barry sanders didnt work every week and especially not in every situation. like the playoffs.

Well there ya go, you are a PM follower. That's all you needed to say. Coming onto the boards and basically saying the same thing over and over again won't get you anywhere.

Barry Sanders was amazing against both good teams and bad.

I propose a question to you then. Let's say you are DCing a team, you've had great success with the defense you've been running all season long. The team you are playing can pass and run the football. What do you do? Do you go in and revamp the entire defense based on a hunch that the team will run 1 play that was semi-successful against you before for the entire game? Or do you stick with what has been working the entire season?

I guess it wouldn't need to be against the level of competition you guys play.

My advice to you Hate is to build your defense around the playbook and not worry so much about what you saw last game. You posted that PM never ran to the left but we did today, I call that a good OC who did his homework and a DC who just watches every game and is not prepared to handle the playbook itself....Your AI needs to be able to handle all formations and build from there. We might run Pro Set all day the next time we meet but you may never have seen us use it up until that game....Are you prepared?

We've got a defense for every formation, just so happens that our Singleback defense wasn't as geared up towards the run as it should've been. You can go ahead and run pro set all day next time we play. Or I formation or Shotgun or Shotgun 5 Wide. It's not like I delete inputs from my defense for each opponent. I've honestly got about 7 or so outputs for each formation and multiple formations. It's quite a dandy tactical system i've got going here. Thing is, there is no way anyone could've known they would run 80 times. It happens and I'm over it. I'm interested to see what else PM has got in their playbook or are they afraid to use it against decent teams?

I don't understand your point. You can't predict that someone will completely switch their game plan to one formation, especially if they haven't done it all year. Say your AI is good and covers just about every situation with good outputs, but a team finds a small hole. The question is, to what point can they exploit it and keep the game authentic. Everyone knows that PM has no problem exploiting that hole to fullest extent which isn't a knock on their coaches, it's just how they play. Now, they are going to piss a lot of people off, because I think most people won't go the 80 carry route out of one formation.

Now with Project pretty much locking up the #1 seed, the question is now, are they the favorites to come out of the West. I think the only ones who will say that they are, are the one's on their team, and that is how it should be. Hell, I wouldn't put it past the Demonik to pull the 8 vs. 1 upset in the first round. We will see how far Project can take this strategy. What will be interesting is when a team runs the ball 80 times with their powerback at PM when they find something that they can exploit. Now I ask you, will you be prepared?
