Zeta Games of the Week

With some teams still hanging onto a shot in the playoffs this week makes it interesting with a bunch of teams trying to gain them last few spots and get a edge with a win this week.

Bratislava Buzzards (7-7) at Jersey Wildcats (14-0)

The 1st place Wildcats look to keep their shot at immortality alive with a win over the 8th place Buzzards. The Buzzards are trying to pull of the upset in hopes of retaining their spot in the playoff race as they are clinging onto the 8th and final spot. A win here could propel them up the rankings a spot and give them better options for their final game next week.

Hellas Hoplites (13-1) at Albuquerque Nighthawks (1-13)

With flip flop records here this will be the game the Hoplites much needed after a tough loss last week to the Wildcats. The 2nd place Hoplites look to technically clinch the 2nd spot in the playoffs with a win and the possibility of still taking the #1 spot when they hook up with the 15th place Nighthawks who are looking for their second win of the season. Good Luck.

Chicago Midway Monsters (10-4) at Saratov Sea Wolves (9-5)

The 5th place Monsters look to go onto 6th place Saratov's turf and try to keep their spot locked and even possibly move up to #4 with a win as they are already locked into the playoffs. The Sea Wolves look to clinch their playoff berth with a win and keep their position.

Odessa Ajejes (8-6) at Transatlantic Devils (5-9)

The 7th place Ajejes are looking to move up a spot with a win over the 12 place Devils with a much needed win. A loss here will force them to scenarios next week of possible playoff spot or elimination. The Devils are locked out of the playoffs but can play the spoilers here as they defend their home field.

Morgantown Mountaineers (2-12) at Stewart Ballers (11-3)

The 3rd place Ballers look to solidify their 3rd spot with a win at home over the 14th place Mountaineers. A loss could move them down to the 4th or 5th spot. Already locked into a playoff spot they are looking to keep their shot at homefield advantage. The Mountaineers who are eliminated from the playoffs look to grab a win and gain momentum for next year.

Chernobyl "Ooops" (2-12) at Rio de Janeiro Bat Crazy Winos (0-14)

This battle of the bulge takes place with the 13th place "Ooops" and the Last place Winos. The "Ooops" are hoping not to make a oops here and the Winos are looking to get their feet wet with their first win. Both teams eliminated this will be a game that each team wants to win for bragging rights.

Boston Tea Baggers (6-8) at Chekhov Bears (10-4)

The 4th place Bears look to keep their spot in the rankings with a win over the 11th place Tea Baggers who are trying to make a comeback bid at a playoff shot who need to run the table. A loss for the Bears could drop them down with a win giving them a fighting chance to move up to 3.

Belgrade Falcons (7-7) at Odesa Outlaws (7-7)

This is another of the teams fighting for the playoff hunt. The 9th place Falcons look to jump up into a playoff spot as they fight the 10th place Outlaws who are also trying to make a final run to the playoffs. This game could mean the end for either team with a loss as the scenario's next week will not look good for the losing team. Everything to gain here and alot to lose as both teams need to run the table to get into the playoffs with help along the way.

Good luck to all the teams this week who are fighting for a spot. We have 2 weeks left it's now or never for some. Everyone bring their A game this week. If i spelled something wrong please don't point it out lol i'll fix it when i get home from work and this is the best i could come up with in 15 minutes.

Let's all get a win this week...as these games mean playoffs for some...and mean field advantage for others...and for the rest it's a game that can get you ready for the following year...
