Eh, the last few games have been my fault. I had surgery recently and alot of drugs and been 1/2 out of it trying to write shit up. Im not claiming that it would have changed games so no hard feelings to anyone but games for us at least will be diff when im off the percocet constantly.

Get well soon!

He is my Brother and has a really bad case of dry socket in his jaws after his surgery and our AI has suffered

Ah man, that sounds like it'd be painful, especially while chewing.
The worst I've ever had is gout in my ankle. I can't walk when I get it.

Small world...I have gout as well and mine usually shows up in either ankle. What are you on, Indomethacin? I've found that if I start taking it as soon as I feel even a twinge of pain, it makes it go away a *LOT* quicker. Or if I notice my urine is dark yellow instead of clear, I know an attack is coming in the next few hours (and that I've had too much pop)

Typically if I avoid pop and red meat I go long stretches (5-6 months at a time) without an attack, but they're too damn hard to resist, LOL.

Tart cherry juice works well during an attack as well

For those that haven't known anyone that's had Gout...its an extremely debilitating pain
in your joints caused by the build up and crystalization of Uric Acid. I've torn 3 ligaments in my ankle at once, broken a few bones and passed a kidney stone, but nothing compares to what Gout feels like if its bad

Small world, indeed!

I have a Prednisone pack and an anti-inflammatory (the name of which escapes me right now) on standby just in case there's a severe case that just hits me. I use a home remedy for the small twinges, though. I'll dilute 2 tablespoons of baking soda into a quart of water, and attempt to drink that all as quickly as I can (not so fast that I get sick, of course). The water helps to keep me flushed while the baking soda combines to help raise my body's PH, which in turn seems to provide me with relief much quicker. I actually started feeling the twinges Tuesday, and that's exactly what I did: by Wednesday morning, I had about 90% function back in my left ankle.

I haven't notice the change of color of my urine with regards to a gout attack, but I'll check the next same I see one.
And you're right on the money, I do like my pop and red meat. Though I've cut back considerably from what I used to eat.

And you're right on the money: gout's incredibly debilitating for the periods you have it. For those who don't have it, I've sprained my ankles a half-dozen times, but I'd much rather have a sprained ankle than gout. If the attack's severe enough, you can't even lay a sheet on it. Even mild ones can leave you unable to walk.

Year's ago my tag team partner (his working name was Big Wood) worked two shows (a friday and saturday night)while having a full blown gout attack in his right foot.

At the time I had no idea how big a deal that was. Years later I started having gout attacks myself (sometimes I couldn't even walk on crutches) and realized that Woody was a stone bad ass.

Just to add something that is on topic I will explain the Cocos Island Paradox:

The Polecats (formerly Empire United) are mae up of a group of Agents who are all friends and gaming buddies in real life. Last season a bunch of our rl guys got interested in GLB but there was just no way they could play for EU due to levels and whatnot. The solution we arrived at was to dynamite the team and start over from scratch (and build in some of the wisdom we have gained from running EU).

So there you go. Not such a big mystery after all (and no there was no hacking involved).

As far as power ratings go we should almost certainly be listed dead last because at this point I imagine even the CPU teams would beat us 200-0.

Btw my gout basically disappeared after I changed my diet and lost 150lbs

This is typically the case. Nothing like getting healthy to stop urine crystals from seeping into your joints!

Healthy is a side benefit...changing the diet is the "cure"

I've lost 60 since May, myself. Still got quite a few more to go, but we'll get there.
