Last year Steel City was 1 dimensional with their run and you guys made them pay for it but they (he - as it is just one guy) did a good job of balancing out their attack. When discussing the "best" team in the conference, I think that someone could make the argument that they are it (I dont think they are necessarily but I could see the argument made). I also think the argument could be made for about 4-5 other teams as well without anyone being "wrong".

Well, I wouldn't exactly say that there are as much as 4 or 5 teams in our division that could be considered "The best team"...frankly I'd say there is 3. That being said I think that there is another 1 or maybe 2 teams that on a good day could beat any of those top 3 teams in a playoff game.
As far as that goes, I'd also say that there is only 3 teams in the Zeta division that you could argue between who the best is as well.
I'm editing this, becuase I realize that you are talking about the entire conference not just the division...yeah, you are probably right.

These are my "good day" or "upset" teams: Bonn Dynamo, Eurotrash Bat Farm, Armagh Rally, Dublin Saints, and West Country Wyverns.
Bonn Dynamo is a top team on paper, but hasn't been able to prove themselves worthy against the best competition. If they get themselves together, Bonn could make a playoff run to the championship.

Yeah, I can totally see people thinking the same thing about us. Though I would say we've gotten it together lately. Early on we were just covering the teams we were supposed to beat and getting beat by the tough teams. Our Armagh win put us on the map, then the blowout Coventry game showed we had the players to score at will when given the chance and to be honest we came very very close to beating Manchester, lost 12-16, but we had a ton of little mistakes, missed 35 yd FG, missed XP, -3 turnover ratio, etc. and they pulled it out with a long TD drive late in the 4th quarter. Just hoping for a strong finish and home playoff games.

You still have two quality opponents left on your schedule: Atom Bombs and Eurotrash.
Both of these teams are quality. If you win out you may get a decent seed in the playoffs.

Trolls @ Hitmen 50-0 wtf???
I know that the Trolls are a really really good team. But I also saw the Hitmen as a very strong contender. Are the Hitmen trying to gain an underdog role ON PURPOSE? or are the Trolls just THAT dominant right now?

The score in this one really wasnt that indicative of the relative strengths. I think we got lucky and called the perfect plan (and yes, a large part of it is luck). Their QB threw 4 picks (when he had a total of 3 all season) and we did some things to our lineup and settings (shhhh super secret stuff here...) that paid off. Their OLine was stellar and their DLine was very good as well but we had some big plays and came up with some big stops. Hitmen are a good team; they just had one of those days, like we all do, when they zigged when they should have zagged.

You're a gracious winner.
Congrats on an excellent game.
