First off let me say, this season will be perhaps the most competitive season any of us will play. Most of these teams are legit, and game planning along with key turnovers will predict the outcome of most games.

seems pretty spot on to me. The only thing I would do differently is rank Algeria a bit higher.

This conference has some of the most evenly matched teams I have seen in a while. Seems like 1-8 are all pretty interchangeable.

I am nothing short of shocked that Monterrey hasn't been out here bitching about their ranking yet.

* I would mention that these rankings factor in a LOT of various inputs, which are fairly screwy until we actually get into the games that matter, but I imagine it wouldn't do much good. Still interested to see how these change over the first 2-3 rounds of games.

Yeah...getting stuck with the Devils and Greats didn't do your Texan's any favors in the two scrimmage games. The good news is that all of the scrimmage results pretty much disappear tomorrow, so it will be a fresh start for everyone.

I love scrimmage games . . . gives you a chance to try all kinds of crazy shit just to see what it does. But I will admit that the final scores don't really mean much.
