This paltry attempt at trying to convince everyone and justify anything is laughable. I'm sure its terrible to be relegated, but this team was relegated due to having a bunch of crap players and playing sub-par ball. You exploited the system. You knew before you signed those people that you would get relegated, therefore you should have adhered to the cap and the suggested levels. You didn't do the right thing...you did it to specifically gain an advantage over teams with no such opportunity.

you have 19 players above the level 34 cap. Granted, I understand that you can boost...but with this the highest you should be is 37...you have 4 players above 37. Probably more disturbing is that you only have 2 players that actually reside in the suggested range of 17-29. there is no other team even close, well maybe the zeps. Even the Zeps have a large chunk of their roster within the suggested range.

I hope you have fun as I'm not here to rain on your parade, but don't for a second come on here and preach to us like you're innocent in all this and you wanted and strived to be fair. Its inaccurate and insulting. This one team ruined what could have been an extremely competitive conference and league. Its hard to build rivalries with a juggernaut like the Nightmare exploiting the system. We pay money on this game just like you and I personally don't like wasting trophies on underhanded GMs and owners.

Wow, those are some strong words. For what it is worth, I've got seven guys who are above the suggested levels and two of them are my own players. So I ruining the competitiveness in this league? I don't see it, but maybe I'm wrong. I don't see Newcastle as the unstoppable juggernaught that Amsterdam was last season. At least I can see how Newcastle could be beaten (something I never saw with Amsterdam last season).

Yeah, that's some strong talk but I believe you l4boMb4. I neither meant to have so many players over the suggested levels. But, I had spent my time trying to build up just like everyone else is the past 2 seasons. I want it to be fun and competitive but I have also tried my hardest to be successful.

Well let me explain this to the people that are failing to understand how things work. You can sign at level 34 and boost 3 times in season 7 (let me repeat you can boost 3 levels in season 7). Then when season 8 gets here you can boost 3 more levels (let me repeat you can boost 3 more levels in season 8). So sign at 34 and boost to 37 and then boost to 40. I will admit that 2 players were on the team higher then the cap but the rest of the team was well within the range.

Now the other point I will make again. The owner requested to remain in A (sent a support ticket on it) because he had MANY players over level 34 that he wanted on HIS own team. Finally I will repeat this again for the people who are failing to read every post or understand. This team was owned by someone else (the current owner and myself did not have one player on this team) yet he as a GM said he would buy the team. So he did buy the team and then we signed our players and recruited or traded for the rest. I am not claiming innocence but you are claiming things that are untrue. The fact that our level is above a suggested cap that has not been updated since all the boosting for end of season 7 and beginning of season 8 is laughable. IF the average levels were computed now that level suggestion would be much higher.

However go ahead and blame us for a mediocre season (if you have a mediocre season) as it must also be our fault you could not recruit (if in fact that was your problem).

In closing here is what I suggest. If you have a problem with what is going on (within the rules even though we did not knowingly or expectantly exploit anything others have and do) then you should make a suggestion and get people to support it that promotes changes (yet don't just cry or yell foul actually come up with a solution). A big part of this game is networking and building alliances and ways to get good teams built so if we are guilty of anything it is the fact we know people and can recruit easier because of it or just blame it on the fact I personally have over 120 players and can field many teams myself whatever makes you happy but don't get on your soapbox with me and spew incorrect statements out.

In summary you can boost 3 times in season 7 and 3 times in season 8 thus allowing 40th level players to be on a team in this league.

So yeah I can see where you think that one might rather get demoted to run over everyone with the down side of having to go and recruit people from FA or spend money and get them from other teams. And since recruiting is such a joy I cant understand why http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=6339 would have fully 1/3 of there team at or under even the level 21 cap (including a level 6 and level 9). Its great that you want to keep people around that have been with the team, but dont come down after getting beat down and crying to anyone who will listen that life is unfair.

Cool, I don't have a problem with what happened. I'm just saying that I tried to put a good team together and win. I, personally do not mean to ruin the fun for anyone else.

You think by expanding your list of players that you 'could' have brought over makes you look better? And for all this talk about me being beat down and crying, this is my first season in this league and I have no control over my teams' recruiting. There's right and wrong, and no matter how you try and spin it....you know that your team doesn't belong here, you've said it yourself. And really, telling someone they got beat down when you out level them by more than 10 levels is like beating up a 10 year old and then gloating about it. The point is, my team (regardless of how shitty you feel they are), would at least have a fighting chance against the other teams in this league.

I'm not the type that pms support for things such as this...I'll let it play out on the field, but that doesn't mean I can't come on here and tell the truth. I only responded due to the fact that you wanted to PR spin this to the point where you felt like you were innocent and didn't tweak the system a little. I merely called you out and now you can't handle it. I said, let's have fun...and we will. Leave it at that, I'm sure there will be a time when you're on the other side of the coin...and I don't want you to fully insert your foot in that mouth just yet.

By being above the recommended level is perfectly acceptable, I don't have a problem with that at all.

As much as I know your gonna complain, nearly all of them. See after you are capped at a max of 100xp a game no matter how many plays you get please tell me the reason not to boost early and forget about it. Other than the never really sure what changed from season to season. The ones I did not boost are my level 16-17's (and they were 13 when I joined the cap 13 league) and my 3 level 33 guys, after the nearly 15k flex points I did not feel the need to buy more points yet.

And before you even consider complaining about me using flex points, remember without flex points being bought Bort would have NO reason to continue the game since he is in this to make money. No Flex, No Game as simple as that.

And a question for you: Why do you have 8 guys on http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=402 , now remember the question is why are they there, not are they within this range or that range? I would guess that its because they were needed there. Oh, and the reason for the edit... Have they boosted yet?
