i figured clue 1 was bort originally... but how is he the only one being able to make old news, new? if you look at the announcements digital daggers posted one aswell so news does not refer to announcements, and if it refers to threads in the form, anyone can bump them, and there are numerous moderators that can sticky them aswell..... so i think we may be off...


before i joined this group, i tried to figure out clue 1 and had so many possible answers ranging from bort to typo aswell.

Here was a thought from a different view of the clue though:


Clue - Hear ye! Hear ye! He is the only one that can make old news new.

the word he does refer to a person. and old news does not necessarily have to be news, it could be a saying.

Example:

James: what about them patriots?
David: what about those patriots? the patriots are old news.
David: It's about the steelers now.

Old news does not necessarily have to be what many on the main treasure hunt form speculated. such as announcements/forums. it could be used as a saying. and someone being able to make something popular into "old news" is commonly referred to as "the next big thing". so that clue could refer to the moderator that recently replaced thorn in the customer support spot.(i believe their was an announcement about it awhile back)

well the namesake gave it away. when you think of a player on glb, the initial reaction is tea baggins, I player searched tea baggins and took a look at the names that came up
