Ok I'll just sit back with my Engineering Bachelors Degree and Engineering Masters Degree while you are trying to sell me Life Insurance
That shows alot of class. Having both of those degree's means you will be more successful then Mmuhr am I right? Although with your statement it just proves you don't actually have the degree, people who do would say with pride I might add; Bachelors of Science in Engineering typically it is a technical school of some sort that says Bachelor in Engineering. Yeah those 2 degrees are good to have but do not mean he will be selling you life Insurance. Do you realize that Philosophy is actually very well respected in the world of science as a matter of fact most Physicists are philosophers of some sort. So being a person from a Science background as you state to be, should be happy that there is someone pursuing Philosophy because without it Science ceases to exist.
LMAO If you want me to be technical, my degrees are Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Eastern Michigan University. But I could really care less about your ideas on the importance of philosophy or your thoughts on my lack of class. I am having a go around with mmuhr here, and your opinion is inconsequential. swimma actually had one of the more intelligent points so far in the forum this year, well except for the attacking of the major. A lot of ad hominem, petitio principi, and ad nauseam arguments (I don't know if I spelled those right, mmuhr?). I'm not saying that I didn't join in from time to time, but internet forums get boring when this starts happening. Bad form, especially from a philosophy major.
