Let me break it down for you
- You say we're number 1, mainly due to levels. You asked for an argument why this isn't true.
- I gave you an argument based on a Level 30 being a better build than a Level 40.
This was a subjective argument and couldn't be proven anyway. It was thrown out there to 1) give some props to our QB who honestly has one of the best builds I've seen and 2) hopefully make you question that your "high level" player builds may be the reason for your continued disappointment in this league. OK . I have read this entire thread and enough is enough already this Areola guy keeps saying that in the common opponent game that their QB put up better #'s in half the plays. I am prety sure that they had a 1 ATTEMPT difference. So how many STATS are put up on non passing plays?? Please explain some logic to this argument. Well let me save you some time, there is none. I know it sucks to admit you have the highest level team in the league but not the best team. You play in the worst conference hands down so if you don't run the table it is a joke. You want to find out how you would do in a mans conference feel free to send a challenge over and we will see who comes out on top. Until then be happy with getting a free pass to a home playoff game and a runner up league trophy.

What are your reasons for putting one undefeated team over the other?

Here's my answer. Our win over the o's is the best win of the top teams. The o's win over your number 3 team can potentially vault them to a top 3 seed if the jacks win against either the Peckers or West Virginia.

Quite frankly, that win speaks volumns about who is the tougher conference, regardless of how bad the bottom tier teams are. In the only matchup between the top teams, Elephant beat Lion.

And you do not have terrible taste in music......

MaRAWK!! o is a damn fine team, but before you put the fate of this bitch fest on 1 game....

that was the lumberjacks without the HB with the 3rd most yards in the league (with 3 less games than everyone else), without our ROT who has the 4th most pancakes in league (with 3 less than everyone else) and we were missing our starting C.

We lost to MaRAWK!! o who I greatly respect by 1 point, but things have changed... so don't jizz yourself over the win

Mmmm, just noticed last season that the Jacks are the reigning champs fron Tanzania, and even beat the Peckers last season.

To be the man, ya got to beat the man.

Maybe the rankings should go Eci, Marawk, Jacks, Pat White Fan Club, Peckers. At least until you guys start playing each other.

If thats your opinion, then vote it. Bottom line is this is the perception of the whole as opposed to the perception of one. We all are now very aware of what you think of certain teams. So, somehow understand that outside of yourself, noone (from my team at least) gives two shits what you think.

For the record, I have voted Eci #1 in each and every one of my polls and I didnt need one of their GMs to convince me of this. I believe your initial question has been answered several times on here so why dont you quit disrespecting people who already respect your team. Its called quitting while you are still ahead.

(I would hope a team that has been around for 2 more seasons would have higher leveled players.)

Other than the one condescending post towards the Peckers, I never intended disrespect towards any team. If the Mountainer coaching staff feels that way, I apologize. I was only trying to provoke dicussion on an otherwise boring season.

I havent seen much if any discussions on why coaches vote the way they do. Considering the vote tally was dropping, I was actually trying to help motivate more participation. If my posting style has rubbed anyone the wrong way, sorry bro.

Maybe I missed it, and should reread this thread, but I honestly have not seen anyone sharing their thought process on how they ranked the teams. Obviously I have stated how this season and last season head to head weigh heavily on my decision. How do you decide?

So good luck on the rest of the seasons, as it seems Steve Slaton's alma mater will be moving up the ranks next poll.

West Virginia hasn't finished a season since Major Harris was their QB.

That's the only time WVU has finished a season undefeated (They went on to lose the National Championship deciding Fiesta Bowl to Notre Dame).

WVU finds ways to lose to awful Pitt Panther teams when they have one of the top teams in the Big Least.
