We are talking the best of the best guys lol. Ringo was a studio musician in the right place at the right time. He could basically count to 4 at the same pace everytime.

I think he was more than that, but w/e. He does a lot of subtle things that are great. Also the Beatles hated solos/"extra notes" so it wasn't their style to do awesome drum fills. But I'm sure you probably know that.

Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest bands of all time, if not the greatest. Every guy in their band was a classically trained musician and you can hear it in their music.

I didn't like them until I listened to a lot of their stuff and the stuff you don't hear on the radio. I hate Stairway to Heaven. Hate it. But they have some unbelievable tunes. I don't think you can put them in one musical category. You might like them. Of course, I don't know your musical tastes, you're right.

Now this is a guy I can agree with. I absolutely loathe Stairway to Heaven and Whole Lotta Love, they are so overplayed I wanna puke everytime I hear them. But play me Ten Years Gone or The Rain Song and I'm almost brought to tears those songs are so perfect.

But if you held a gun to my head and told me to pick the best album of all time, I'd say Quadrophenia by The Who.

Interesting choice, me boy.
