Well our team isn't last so atleast that is a plus LOL

In regards to the Hotlanta Vs. Tucson debate, Atlanta is a more balanced team. I think Tucson is really going to struggle once it plays some high powered offenses.

I actually did not include any SoS in my ranking because I feel over the course of a season it will be almost identical. It is not like college basketball where there are so many teams that many will not play each other....and it would have taken longer to calculate...and I decided drinking beer sounded better than doing SoS analysis...haha.

You guys have kept many of your losses fairly close contests.

You guys know numbers it seems, does anyone know how QB rating is calculated?

I have 86.1 but don't know how it came to that conclusion.

Also, ranked 1st? It will take some tough games before I consider us the best, but we will try to win every game with all our effort I know that.

GLB uses the same passer rating that both the NFL and CFL use. College uses a completley different rating.

That formula is as follows (I even manually calculated it using your stats and it is accurate)from http://www.supernfl.com/QBRating.html:

Percentage of Completions — 324 of 461 is 70.28 percent. Subtract 30 from the completion percentage (40.28) and multiply the result by 0.05. The result is a point rating of 2.014.
Note: If the result is less than zero (Comp. Pct. less than 30.0), award zero points. If the results are greater than 2.375 (Comp. Pct. greater than 77.5), award 2.375.

Average Yards Gained Per Attempt — 3,969 yards divided by 461 attempts is 8.61. Subtract three yards from yards-per-attempt (5.61) and multiply the result by 0.25. The result is 1.403.
Note: If the result is less than zero (yards per attempt less than 3.0), award zero points. If the result is greater than 2.375 (yards per attempt greater than 12.5), award 2.375 points.

Percentage of Touchdown Passes — 35 touchdowns in 461 attempts is 7.59 percent. Multiply the touchdown percentage by 0.2. The result is 1.518.
Note: If the result is greater than 2.375 (touchdown percentage greater than 11.875), award 2.375.

Percentage of Interceptions — 10 interceptions in 461 attempts is 2.17 percent. Multiply the interception percentage by 0.25 (0.542) and subtract the number from 2.375. The result is 1.833.
Note: If the result is less than zero (interception percentage greater than 9.5), award zero points.

The sum of the four steps is (2.014 + 1.403 + 1.518 + 1.833) 6.768. The sum is then divided by six (1.128) and multiplied by 100. In this case, the result is 112.8. This same formula can be used to determine a passer rating for any player who attempts at least one pass.

Ehh that is untill this brutal 3 game stretch we are in.

All I'm saying, as the DC, Co-Owner, and GM of the NJ Nighthawks, is.. goldman, we got no business trash talking. We're 0-6. Do I think we can beat the Spartans? I think we have a good gameplan, I have confidence in our team. But I'm not getting over confident, We're going to do our best.

What I will say is, if we lose.. Well we're used to it.

If we win, the Spartans will be eating crow.


P.S. I was promoted to my current positions by the owner, after our 5th loss.

Longshots this game, Roadrunners in the next game. I would like to be 2-0 .

He should be. Our team is #1 in every ranking you can come up with(unless that ranking is about worst teams in the league)not to mention we're 7-0. Also when a is the next ranking going to come out? I want to see how this weeks games have impacted the rankings.
