However many teams we get. Hopefully we won't go beyond 126 though.

Yeah but double elimination gives you two chances to place in this tournament.

Yeah but double elimination gives you two chances to place in this tournament.

One of the problems with that is that it would take too long, and some teams don't want to be scheduling friendlies in the playoffs. Should try to start the tourny soon so everyone knows whos playing who and it gives plenty of time for the tourny to finish.

It'll start in 2 days, maybe 1. There's a great deal of teams.

This tourney does look to be huge. I think a single elimination would be better myself, a la NCAA Final Four style - one loss and you go home. I can see a double elimination dragging on a bit and perhaps losing some pinache after a little bit.
