Alright guys, aside from the rankings, who do you think are the top teams? I guess what I'm asking is do you agree with the rankings?
We will find out next game. We have #1 Pigs Vs #4 Volcano. Should be a good game

I definitely don't agree with the order of the rankings. The top 15 or so includes all the right teams, but the order is far from correct as far as who would beat the most other teams. Early season losses are heavily affected by new simulation quirks, and I have trouble believing the PIGS are the #1 overall team. Maybe I'm just vastly overestimating the competition level of this league, since apparently the two best teams are from our A league last season, and neither of them made a conference championship game.
The Raiders are worthy of being #1 imo, but I gotta say Vanuatu and the Mobile Bay Bombers look the toughest in Zeta. The Bombers only had one "easy" game so far but have played very well. The fact that the Tuvalu Matadors are 0-5 having played the single ugliest schedule in their first 5 games (opponents record of 20-5) is really throwing the strength of schedule off. I gotta think Tuvalu is still going to make the playoffs.
As has already been mentioned, Vanuatu vs. PIGS is a huge game for determining playoff positioning, and should help clarify the Zeta power rankings a bit.
Pandas vs. Snakes and Raiders vs. 49ers are also huge games this week.

I just want to butt in and say, yeah regular season, great u have a an amazing win loss record or undefeated season. But it all doesn't matter. Once the playoffs hit that's all that counts. Doesn't matter what u did in the regular season, what u W-L record is or where ur ranking is. All that counts is winning the imaginary trophy at the end! Also league ranks and playoff position mean nothing. What matters is putting ur self in position to win!

IMO, Mobile Bay is the best in the league.. It will all come down to game planning
And the Pigs are good, but I dont know if they are 16-0 good..
Tuvalu are good, and probably will make the 8 seed, but if they were good enough to win it all they would have pulled one of those 5 I think... and no disrespect to Tuvalu as they are my old team
All that said.. I still think the ranking speak fairly well for the order.. each team could move up or down a couple

but it does matter what you did in the regular season.. it matters a lot actually! go below 8-8 and more than likely you won't make the playoffs, which mean your season was worthless.. go above 8-8 and the better you do in the regular season, the easier your playoff schedule is..

Melbourne outplayed you guys, but the ball went your way with 2 fumbles, 1 for a TD.
You guys had Rawaki beat, but the ball went their way and gave them the win because of a botched input.
If you want respect for one, you lose it for the other. Both just instances of luck IMO.
Also, your tuck your tail and take the beating method for the Mobile Bay game doesn't help your case.

guys lets not forget Melbourne, not saying you have, but right now they scare me the most. I mean hell they did beat us! But there are deff some better teams up here and im looking forward to it. I dont see 16-0 for anyone and that includes us. Hey r8rs2000, hopefully you make it to the ship again for a rematch, i enjoy our games and your rankings as well.
