How exactly is this? The only thing I can see holding us back is the lack of chemistry. I don't expect to win every game, we will be competitive though. I'm waiting for RGB and Anchorage to merge now........

as long as we win, i don't see how it should effect team morale.

i dont see how having a roster stacked with 40+ 2 deep a just about every position is all of the sudden a bad thing lol.

so AT WORST, all of our players lose 2%-4% of their attributes from the beginning of the season, as the chem gets better, we only get better.

thats basically about .25 level/person, not that big of a deal guys.

You'd be surprised. Speaking from experience with other teams the hit is pretty brutal. You've also got some tough early games to deal with.

The chemistry effect is brutal. It was the cause of RGB to struggle in the early seasons. It took quite a while to get through (more than one season) The subsequent push into reducing morale compounds the issue. I hope that you are right and that it is not that big of a deal, but remember that this is a strong conference.

The 9% is comparing a team with 10 chem and another with 100.
If you are 40 and are up against a team with 100 that is 6%.
Now multiply that over the relevant attributes of your L40 players and you are looking at losing 4 levels per player.
Then when you start losing the morale penalties will kick in.
We were getting out pancaked 200-5.
Missed tackles were 60-3.

I know you guys will do your best to prove me wrong but there is great power in the dark side.

I know this first hand. My team didn't play well till my chem was in the 90's

To be honest, I don't give a shit what any of you think. We may win and we may lose, but by the end of the season we're a stronger team than we were last season. I say let's settle it come game time. Damn relax dude. Being defensive makes it seem like you REALLY do care.

You are right, everything will be settled on the field.

Pre-season rankings, smack talk, it's all B.S. when it comes to results on the field.

I still think there is more pride in recruiting players like those than merging with a team

because it's much harder to get free agents to come of that caliber than to just have

another team basically give up and join together because they couldn't build a team strong enough

But hey you still made some good moves and in the future your team will be better for it.

I compare it to the Celtics, when Kevin McHale bascially gave them Kevin Garnett and the Sonics

basically traded Ray Allen for a rookie. I respect the Spurs and Pistons for building a Championship team

rather than being given one.
