i think tebow should change to TE or HB in the NFL. He has amazing talent but honestly I think he doesnt have what it takes to be a QB. TE he would be awesome at because he is tall fast and pretty much built like a TE, and plays QB so he prolly has good hands, and HB becuase according to most scouts he is the best short yardage back in college football right now. From what I've seen of him (not that much cause im not a big fan of college football) it looks like he makes poor decisions, and poor decision making is what made rex grossman such a horrible NFL QB, and dropped Woodson so far down in the draft last year.... Also it would be cool to see a former college QB play awesome in the NFL at hb and te

Tebow would not make a succesful NFL TE or HB. Unlike other dual threat college QB's Tebow was born to play QB and his leadership abilities are insane. I'm not trying to prove you wrong or anything beardown.. but I gotta disagree I think he'll make a good NFL QB if not a great NFL QB. He's tough as nails too.
BTW... I should add that I hate him...

Yea like I said I don't really pay that much attention to college football I basiclly watched most of the game againist Bama, and then a quarter or so of a couple of other games. So its not like I know that much about what I'm talking about, just think with his talent(very evident in the little i have seen of him) he would play great pretty much anywhere on the field

Gonna have to agree there but we still have 8 teams in Bowls, lets check the record when they are complete.

Idk what to think about Tebow and the NFL. He is probably the best player in the last 10 years to go through college football. (I know that statement will get some feedback, but I'll leave me reasons why for a later discussion.) He has all the intangibles to be a great QB in the NFL. Size, leadership, passion for the game, it's all there. With him I see two problems. One, as stated earlier is his decision making. He has all the speed in the world at Florida, but when he makes it to the NFL, every defense is going to be just as fast as his offense. His poor decisions aren't going to be bailed out by his team's speed. Second is his arm. Yes his arm is strong, but I don't think his throws are accurate enough to make him a good QB at the next level. Who knows though, he could be awesome, he could blow chunks, we'll just have to wait and see.
And for the record... I also hate Tim Tebow.

With QBs it's incredibly hard to tell. I mean look at the two successful Rookie QBs right now. Both were hyped up a lot but both were also scrutinized greatly. How could a non division 1 QB that wasn't good enough to beat out Tyler Palko be starting in the NFL over a heismen winner.
Who's going to be successful in the NFL, especially at QB, is becoming harder and harder to tell.
Will Tim Tebow make it? Depends. He has the talent but so do most top level college QBs and we all know maybe one a year makes it, thats being generous too.
His poor decisions right now could come from over confidence form him and his coach, which is easily fixable, or it could come from terrible decision making skills by him which is something that will never get fixed in the NFL.

errrrr.....because troy smith got a virus in pre season and nearly died - he's only just about got all the weight he lost back on

Tebow does have all the physical tools. If he is going to have any chance in the NFL, he's going to need to go to a team that can have him sit for a year or two and learn. He'll need a coach that knows how to work with QBs and their mechanics. Any team that drafts him to play QB for them next season should save the pick and try to get Alex Smith. They would get the same result.

probably not now...flacco's taken his chance played with poise, shown himself to be a learner and a leader, and as the season's progressed and the playbook opened up has started to make some plays.
BTW Smith has a rating of 158.3 this yr (2from2 for 57 and 1 TD ) and 24 yards rushing on 9 attempts in a kind of "wildcat" stylee
