Grocery bag? What's that?

I just poop on the ground then use printout's of Robb's lies to wipe and clean up. Funny, I haven't bought TP since Robb joined GLB.

Yeah, not too many good times in Oregon. My sister still lives up there though so I should probably visit. I used to clan in TFC and guild in DAoC with a bunch of buddies from Medford. [RTL] in TFC and Inner Circle in DAoC. Good times. Probably the most insane in game chats ever.

Tech is such a great job just because its in the state of Texas. Best recruiting grounds in the US and the b12 is a respectable conference in its own right. If Tech can match any other offers he recieves finacially (which I expect them to do as the current athletic head forked out for Bob Knight) then why wouldnt he stay?

Brian Kelly is a great coach as well, but I personally wouldnt want to move into the SEC. To much pressure and way to competitive. While it might be the 'top' of the coaching ladder it just seems like a dead end job to me.

Not reading this thread... But using Texas isn't the reason, because you've got to compete with Texas, A&M, Oklahoma, LSU, and more than a couple other schools for recruits out of texas.... Tennessee has the whole state locked down, and they can also cherry pick GA, AL, VA, and others when they're on their game. (I'm not a UTenn fan btw)

I live in Kentucky and I'm looking for a house right now. With the economy the way it is right now, prices should've gone down more, especially in the little town I live in. The only thing I've seen under about $80,000 are run down houses that look like they'd take just as much to fix as to buy and the occasional "manufactured home". Maybe it's just me, but I'm thinking Kentucky isn't the popular place to live, so I feel like prices should be cheaper here.

I dont think you understand just how much talent is in Texas Nomad, you realise that Texas recruits basically fuel the entire b12, plus TCU, Houston, UNT, and quite a few other schools. I saw a statistic that last season of the 116 D-1A schools 94 of them had atleast one kid from Texas on their squad. If you go and look at USC, LSU, and Florida they have quite a few from Texas. Texas highschool football produces quality and quantity. There is more than enough to go around, however being an instate coach gives you an advantage in the most fertile recruiting grounds in the nation.

Money has seemingly been the central issue though, however Tech seems to be poised to match Tenn's offer even if it will cause us to have a negitive net each year. Leach is Texas Tech, the only other comparisons I know to make are Landry to the Cowboys and Paterno to Penn St. The job might not be as prestigious, but it is certainly a hell of alot better of a situation.

Most of the houses I am seeing are in the $120,000-$200,000 range.

TEXAS rocks. They should break off from the US, they are the only state allowed to do so.

Is breaking off different than falling off...? 'Cause I'm pretty sure California will take first dibs on the falling off.

Part of Texas being admitted to the Union was the written garuntee that we would be allowed to break off at any time should we wish, and the same standard was kept when we were readmitted after the civil war. Of course, the US would never let us do so... it would come down to war to keep us. Would be interesting though, seeing as Texas houses between 25-30% of the US's total military might that is not abroad.

Interesting Tidbit, Texas is also allowed to break into 7 states should we desire which could really screw up congressional districts and the electoral college. Economically its not prudent though. We had alot of conditions when we joined up with the US
