So your buddy decided he wanted to win a championship for once, so he brought down a Pro team to AA? That's still very shaddy. Our network has a USA Pro team in it, but you don't see us dropping players from Pro to SEA A in order to win championships, that's no fun. It's like hunting with a bazooka.

WTF? Some guy guts a former Pro team and brings it to a former capped league, and that needs to go to PMs?

That's like BBB15 complaining because I mention stats in the ProBowl thread, or SEA A3 complaining because we're talking about last season in the ranking threads.

These forums are turning into Air Traffic Control. All you can do is mention a few basic things: 1) rankings / predictions, 2) "Good Game". Anything other than that and people complain.

I'm not complaining but this forum is fun and not full of whining because you're not going to be able to beat a team. Yes we talk smack in this league forum but we're not whiners.

i agree with drea. we make our picks- disagree or agree and leave it. We also smack but we are "friendly" to each other. A great example of this is me and mastawoo if you look in older threads.

My reason to join the team was not to win a championship or stuff like that. I just wanna burn my XPs till i'm done here in GLB. My former Team owner sells his team and he had more then 70% of his own players in this team. I decided to leave it and join my other friends team...the flipmode squad. But enough of this crap! I wanna play some games...we will see whats happen...

Read the league overview... League AA is from level 1 - 100. You all had the chance to bring in new players...

So, you're not technically cheating, but are you taking all the fun out of the game. A lvl 23 DT will never beat a lvl 40 G, no matter how terrible the G's build is. So your team is going to come in, win every game by 50-100+, and walk through a championship. So no matter how much your game planning proficiency, you get the same result. That sure makes things fun.

But I guess going 8-8 in a Pro League isn't good enough for you. You've got to beat up on the weaker players in order to feel like you've got a huge e-peen. Try challenging yourself - it will lead to a more rewarding experience when you succeed.




Okay i dont see any rule bout you cant join your friend's team. Lets get this straight no this is not no random somebody or guy out there i just recruited. In fact they are my friends in real life and since he didnt want to have his team anymore because he doesnt have time with real life stuff, he is going to join my team. so dont complain to here about oh its not fair blah blah blah. Alot of this stuff in here is not fair im a gm on my other buddy team right now in A league and we are outleveled by at least 5-10 lvls im not cryin or bitchin bout oh this is not fair.
Last season practically had a gutted team i wasnt complainin how the elite teams were outleveling us. So if you want you can go ahead recruit or find your buddies to play with you. i dont see why i should feel bad when my real life friend, somebody that got me into this game was gonna join my team. Is that my fault? should i be sorry for it? NO JUST DEAL WITH IT.


You can't join your friends team if you're bringing lvl 40 players into a league that has high lvls of what 35 maybe? That means saying that everyone is lvl 30ish you still have around 10 lvls on us. You can't overcome 10 lvls, that's 50 skill points! You can have a foolproof AI, a great gameplan, and use mini-token/regular boosts, but if the other team just has a "good enough" gameplan, and some AI they'll win 9 times out of 10.

Actually, Idaho did something similar last season, and they didn't just roll everyone. They did great, but they had a whole squad of higher level guys.

Let's just play the games.

Their chemistry makes them play at a much lower level and no one understands that yet! They are not going to win this league like that.

Glad to see another Patriots fan here. I've been saying it throughout this thread that you guys have bad chemistry but no one listens. If you guys beat my team I might have to complain though.

it's good to see the kongs are in tier 2!

While I appreciate the vote of confidence after the first preseason game, not sure our win merits a jump from 12 to 5 into tier 2

That was the whole point of my post, they have enough lvls that chemistry won't matter. I know I stated gameplanning, but it's the same concept.

Yeah I understand but (I think) they are all boosted and if that's the case I don't think teams like mine or the Taiwan Dragons are far behind.

Idaho didn't bring the big guns from TCG, only positions where they were lacking, we started two seasons before with lvl 4 and 7 players as a farm team and still played well... if anyone had actually gm'ed last Season you'd have been steam-rolled.

Chemistry is the new "we didn't gameplan" excuse for losing, imho it doesn't affect jack. But hey, prove me wrong, I'm open-minded.

Well then it's a good thing that you down own the forum, because then it would be a boring place. I really don't care about how this place worked "before" because, quite frankly, it's "now" and this place is entirely different.

And I'm not "whining because [we're] not going to be able to beat a team". We don't play then unless both teams make the championship. It was a bs, cowardly move that compromises competition at the expense of some teenager getting an ego boost. Basically, this issue with gutting is the single greatest issue of GLB and is the reason they're losing so many users. If we just ignore it and there isn't any punishment or ridicule from other users, then we're passively condoning this sort of action.
