YES Someone knows Smithfields. Sure, it may be confined to the Eastern half of NC...but BBQ sandwiches with hush puppies and banana pudding... awesome.

Hardees are here in MN too, but not like they used to be. Lots of Culvers too (I heard that Culvers is Sarah Palin's favorite, ha). Of course White Castle ... and we just got a Sonic here finally.

Wish we had In & Out (obv. the best) and Jack in the Box...

I'm sorry MattyP, but Whataburger is much better then White Castle or In & Out!

Never knew White Castle existed until the movie (and I didn't find out until later that it was an actual place).

When I was moving back to Wisconsin for my second year of grad school, my buddy and I stopped at a White Castle in Kentucky. It was pretty interesting.

White castle sucks. You have to be high and/or really drunk to enjoy. The one we had close in Kansas City didnt make it. Maybe we are just used to good beef and it couldnt make it. Okay insert your own joke here.

I would liken it to people on the coast going to Red Lobster or a Ponderosa for "good seafood".
