I'm sure some of you are bound to do pretty well, no doubt you got good builds and solid levels or they wouldn't have moved you up.

But A5 has been ultra fucking competitive since its creation. The mid-tier teams in A5 could probably have won in other lateral leagues so they all have good builds, good owners, good gameplans. Unfortunately you guys are at a level disadvantage to start off with. The level gaps close, they always do, but there really isn't any slow building farm teams at the top of the conferences, only hypercompetitive owners that want to win now and think they can win now. So if you are looking for any of them to cut the new guys some slack, it isn't going to happen.

Best advice I can give you is come in with confidence, gameplan hard, be prepared for lots of people talking shit, most of it harmless, sometimes you get a real bitch of a human, and have fun. A5 is the shit, and you need to bring some shit to the table or you'll get flushed real quick.

I actually disagree with that Robbie - A6 was a stronger league than A5 IMO. I know the Big Prawns would have managed better than sneaking into an 8th seed here.

That's good advice Robbiesol. Believe me I'm doing all I can this off season to make sure I'm not a cupcake for you guys to eat. I know I would have been better off if I hadn't won it all and spent another season in the B's improving levels but that didn't happen and now me and all the other B teams have to deal with that. I don't figure I'm going to win this league but being the best of the B's and maybe upsetting one or two of you guys would make me real happy.

Dude the last 2 or three threads I've gone to have been buzz kill central. Everyone needs to lighten up. Its internet football....and its Beta for god sake.

Bummer I was looking forward to facing them again.

I hope A5 can continue its trend of the lower teams making improvements and challenging for playoff spots. I love the fact that the finial spots were not secured until the last couple of games.
