I'm expecting that at least two top teams from each conference joins us next year. I'm gonna say Kibwezi(can never spell there name) & Namibia from Elephant then Uganda and either Gambia or WNV Lion.

Youre more optimistic than I am. I dont anticipate seeing another "massive" shuffle to further even out the field in each league, partially becuz I see the situation in Africa as the exception to whatever it is the rest of GLB have going on. Maybe they'd want to even out Africa some more, but honestly, there are at least 40 Africa teams that can go blow for blow with each other, whether they play in APL, AAA or AA. I dont know how they can solve that league wise, other than having all of the better teams in APL or AAA, which I am not sure there are enough slots to do.

The game may be better served with just having teams promote normally this next season and see how the competition shakes out. We're going to be very uneven in this league, but what about everyone else around the different regions... that, I dont know.

Again, I just dont feel like this season is going to be fun for us, spare a couple of games. We're going to blow alot of people out and will really only have 2, maybe 3 tough games, where the outcome may be in doubt. It's always fun to win, but it's not any fun beating up on folks you know never had a chance. And the soon-to-be lofty stats wont mean as much when theyre done against the equivalent of high school teams.

I guess we just need to focus on winning, period, so we can get to AAA and throw down with at least 10 teams that are as strong as us. Good luck up there. We'll be paying attention, watching all you guys rumble. And please serve the DD like we did a season ago.

I was hoping with the teams I expect will go CPU, that Bort might just double promote where needed. We're going to do our best to represent AA #2. Someone actually has us as there preseason pick for Lion and I'm like "No, Seychelles sucks. No real threat there. You don't even need to game plan for them". I don't think anyone bought it though.

I must say that the Sultans are already getting picked on. Several guys are using the Sultans as a replacement for Chuck Norris "FACTS" like "The Sultans don't sleep...they wait". They're doing it to make fun of how they came in before the championship game last year and were talking smack in the forums. I gotta admit, I'm enjoying it.

I never understood that false bravado, especially when it's already been proven the team is average. Had the Sultans been in the Lion, they probably wouldnt have made it out of the first round. But, instead, they make it to the championship and get a 3 TD beating put on them, which I quite easily predicted. I knew that team was a sham when Gabon beat them in the regular season finale.

But, it will be just as entertaining when the season starts and theyre getting whuuupped. Those posts will die down quite a bit, that is, after they get picked on for even posting them in the first place.

The Lion up there is going to be nasty. Consider it a token of respect if someone is picking you to win it, even if its a preseason pick. You guys have just a good a shot as anybody up there, especially if a team that both the Wolves and U's threw bombs with makes the conference finals in their first season up there.

God willing, we'll be up there in Season 7. Unless proven otherwise, our main competition is Gambia and maybe WNV. I know the Cutters are laying in the weeds, since they've been a consistent playoff/championship contender for 3 seasons and nobody here is more scary than them. WNV.. we'll see about them, since theyve only been around for 2 seasons and through the first one and almost half of the second one, they sucked. Puppy wont like that and he'll say that they beat us, which they did late last season, but whatever. Theyre a helluva team, but the path to AAA runs right through their chests and to get to where we wanna go, we gotta blow out their backs, just like everybody else.

Im sure some other teams will be thinking that theyre being disrespected, but the truth is that theyre not. Theyre just not on the radar, especially if theyve never beaten us before or the last time they saw victory against us was Season 3.

But, God bless the Sea Wolves up there. You guys will do great. Hope to follow suit as soon as we can.

Thanks. It looks like it's going to be a war and whoever comes in 1st will most likely have at best 13 wins. I could be wrong and someone could really get on a winning streak, but I don't see that happening. Especially since we'll be adapting to the new O AI updates.

I'm fully expecting that Uganda, Gambia, and WNV end up the top 3 contenders in Lion, but StingTalk and Gabon could make a move if they've made any additions/improvements over last year. We'll see how things shape up.

I almost wish we were still in this league now. its alot more active and would be fun to destroy some of these teams that think they are really something special. GL to all the new teams that moved up into this league. IJMSPORT isnt being cocky or anything he just knows whats going to happen and sometimes the truth hurts

Ouch, what does that mean? If they lost to Gabon they must be toilet?

I think it was when you guys beat them soundly as like the #4 team in lion. If it had been a 1 point win, then maybe not so much.

Gabon is a good team and they play good defense. But they werent high on the AA2 Lion pecking order. So when the 5th or 6th best AA2 Lion team gives it to the then-undefeated 15-0 AA2 Elephant leader and does so in a major way, thats lets you know all you need to know. It wasnt that Gabon wasnt good; the Sultans werent as good as they thought they were nor what their record indicated.

Bingo. Actually, IJM is amazingly awesome at predicting scores and whatnot in this game. He has shocked me with his prediction accuracy numerous times.

Not to discredit Gabon since they are a very good team, but the Sultans also didn't do any game planning for the matchup against Gabon since the #1 seed was locked up and we were concentrating on planning our first round playoff game against a team that we beat but had played well against us earlier in the season.

Blow your horn as loud as you can pal, but we earned our spot in AAA.

Yeah, yeah.. and you were resting your best players for fear of injury.. or the offensive coordinator had an interview with an NCAA university about a vacant head coaching position. Might as well have thrown that in there.

You did earn your spot in AAA. Not disputing that. I just made mention that your team was a sham. Thats a fact too, evident by that 4 TD beating you took in the championship, a game I am quite sure you game planned for. So, youre saying nothing and saying everything all at the same time. =)

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
