Some people vote for their own players without the numbers to back up a serious bid for MVP consideration. I had a similar problem tallying up players for the All-Zeta team - some people nominated players that are not even close to being top notch in the league. I don't see how they can manage to be so blindly biased to their players when they can't match the Pro Bowl production of the league leaders. If it's close then sure, but usually it's just obviously myopic.

just curiuos...how did you make your selections?? Did you vote on the guys with the best stats or the guys that killed your team?? or ...example a WR with 20 million catches and no tds...or 30 million drops?? just wondering what and why you made your picks........

And no I dont know who you picked I just really was interested in how most people made thier selections

I first looked at top teams and what they are good at doing. I'm thinking, the team is good because of the players are solid enough to make that happen. Then I looked at the lower teams. Their are always some good players on lesser teams. And they should have been left out.

Things like a tons of yards aren't the end all be all if you're the only back getting all the carries. A back on a 2 deep system with 75% of the yards and a better YPC IMO is better than that top rushing back. A QB that doesn't throw a bunch of times, but has a high completion percentage and just as good in yards, is better than the QB that throws 70 times a game. Obviously, DE with over 100 sacks have to be doing something right regardless of the team.

So, that's some of the logic I used.

Okay, well the Death Monkeys are nominating their QB... Carter "The Cannon" Hounslow.

67.7 completion percentage, 3651 yards on the season. 18 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions.

That's the equal lowest of any QB in the league that starts on interceptions, equal with David Stewart of the Chargers who admittedly threw for more yards.

This is behind an offensive line which is nowhere near as good as the Chargers offensive line.

That's why he gets my vote.

Or in hindsight after the playoff game, our SS Rich Carter could get a nod. 25 tackles in one game

Zip almost took the first punt to the house....and finished the job the second time around early in the 1st quarter. It went down hill from there. He's a game changer...

EDIT: Good looking out

I do wish we had a punt returner that could do what that guy does.

that dudes is good but look at the blocking on those plays. He gets some great blocking and on that touchdown he just about went untouched. i wish i had that blocking on punt returns!

Same could be said about every TD. It all starts with blocking.

We won't be like a real NFL team though and put him on the trading block to see what's out there. He's all ours. F-O-R-E-V-E-R
