Trailing 17-10 at halftime, the Gansters jumpstarted the 2nd half with a pick-6 enroute to outscorin the Exiles 13-3 to eek out a 23-20 victory.
The Alberta's stingy D overcame a shaky start to hold Queensland to just 3 first downs in the second half while the punnishing ground attack held on the ball for almost 12 minutes in the final frame.

You boys sure were stingy with our rushing game only 38yards That pick-6 really killed us and to lose by a FG is never nice. Hopefully we'll get a chance of revenge in the playoffs!

Apparently we have players who like to play in the nude, so instant classics but not sure what channel it will be on just yet. Stay tuned.

Doom was mega-clutch with a pick-6, a 58-yd scoring bomb, and a goalline stand as time expired to earn the W.
Helluva game.

haha, unbelievable. That's an amazing ending. Definitely rivals our game in both magnitude and closeness. Two classic games on one day.

Another classic:
20-21, missed an XP in the 4th to force OT.
Not the drama of a goal line stand, but still pretty good.

Yes, I'm adding this performance here, for the following reasons.
1. A shootout. 48 points in the 4th quarter alone. 87 total!
2. Upset in the making. The #6-seed leads the #2-seed 20-12 entering the 4th, and is up by 11 with 2:30 to go.
3. Excitement. See #1, and the fact that Kingston scored 2 TDs in the final 2:30 to force OT.
4. Gutsy efforts. Even when down 3 after the 2nd TD above, Oshawa nails a HUGE FG to force OT.
5. Overtime ending. Kingston pounds the ball on a tired defense to win 47-40.

I agree...watching only the game from stopping Kingston at the 0.5 yard line of Oshawa late in the third...*epic*

Hamilton @ Copenhagen - Rivalry
Series Leader: Copenhagen (3 of 5)
History:
The first meeting between Copenhagen and Hamilton was game 10 of Sn7. It was a humiliating loss for Hamilton, losing by thirty-three (48-15). Hamilton would seed #5 in the playoffs, and would matchup against Copenhagen, who seeded #4 in Sn7. With some friendly and respectful exchanges between both staffs, and Hamilton eager to gain their respect back within the league, the stage was set for a classic showdown. Hamilton would edge out the win with a strong defensive series in the 4th quarter. The third game of the series was much like the first. Copenhagen would lay the wood to Hamilton with a twenty-eight point win (48-20) to take the series lead 2 games to 1. By the time the playoffs would come around, the series had budded into a rivalry between both teams, and the matchup seemed all but inevitable. Copenhagen (#2) and Hamilton (#3) would take care of their first round games, forcing a second round contest between the two. This was, perhaps, the most anticipated contest of the playoffs, excluding the obvious league title game, and it lived up to the hype by extending into overtime. Copenhagen would extend their series lead by another game, making it 3 to 1.

This chapter of the rivalry marks the only regular season win Hamilton has recorded over Copenhagen, scoring twenty-seven second half points to win by six, and were down by twelve at halftime.

* I know this is an old thread, but it looks like no mods means it'll live on. Want to get this rivalry some recognition.
