I'll go ahead and pick Maddoc for the Dresden representative, he seems to pay the most attention. I just watch our W-L record

I know you said before that you don't want to do separate teams for each conference since it would be double the teams, but what about just one team for each conference. It would be the same number of teams and players while allowing the voters to do their own conference. Just letting me opinion be heard, I'll participate either way

It would be easiest to just have 1 overall vote for the total league. And if it would be easier for most ppl we'll say let's try to have the votes in by Sat night and I'll try to get em done Sunday night after Amazing Race!

Domo Arigato and Wulf sternheimersomethingorother should be seriously considered for FB's. All they do is lead 3 RB's to 1k yard seasons, and RARELY touch the ball themselves.

-Signed, Tommies RB by committee

We give the the FBs a game where they start in lieu of the HBs, and how soon they forget. Of course, it probably doesn't count in their eyes because our OC screwed it up by going berserk with the passing game LOL.

Coker, I will have a ballot in for Alpha by Friday night. If there are too many Alpha ballots don't sweat it you can discard it.

Here is a formula an agent justafish has come up with for determining pro bowlers.

Offense
QB: ((QB-Rating)+(TDs*3)+(Yards/12.5)-(INTs*3)-(FumLost*3))*Completion%)
HB: (TDs*3)+(Yards/12.5)-(FUML*3)+(Catches-Drops)+(RecTDs*4)+(Yards/12.5)
FB: (Pancakes*2)+(TDs*3)+(Yards/12.5)-(FUML*3)
OLine: (Pancakes/5)-(Sacks Allowed)
TE: (Pancakes*2)+(Catches-Drops)+(TDs*4)+(Yards/12.5)-(FumLost*3)
WR: (Catches-Drops)+(TDs*4)+(Yards/12.5)-(FumLost*3)

Defense
Dline; LB: (Tack-MissTack)+(Hurries)+(TFL*1.5)+(Sacks*2.5)+((FFum+INT)*3)+(FumR+Pass Def)+(TDs*4)+(Sfty*3.5)
DB: ((Tack-MissTack)/4)+(Hurries+Sacks)+(TFL*1.5)+((FFum+INT)*3)+((FumR+Pass Def)*2)+(TDs*4)+(Sfty*3.5)

Special Teams
K: ((FGs-MissFGs)*FG%)+((PATMade-MissPAT)*PAT%)+(LongFG)
P: ((PuntAVG*2)-Touchbacks)+(LongPunt)
PR: (PuntRetAVG*2)+(RetTDs*6)+(LongRet)
KR: (KickRetAVG*2)+(RetTDs*6)+(LongRet)

In Event of Ties
Off- 1.TotTDs, 2.Yards
Def- 1.DefTDs, 2.Tackles
ST- 1.Points, 2.FG %
1.Punts, 2.Long Punt
1.RetTDs, 2.Yards

He said it was fine if I posted it and whoever wants to use it or use it as a guide go for it. Its not perfect but it could be a guide that helps people know what to look for

Some form of level modifier is probably useful, for the 'punching above your weight' factor.

I dont think so. To me its kinda like a rookie making the probowl just because we was a really good rookie and isn't held to the same standard as the veterans

This actually happens, the whole 'stepping up' factor is often noted.

Doesn't really accurately take into account teams that run two QBs. Ought to be some quantifier for their attempted passes as well, rather than total net yardage and TDs.

That's the beauty of voting is that there are no set in stone standards. Just pick the player at the position that you feel has honestly done the best. Simple as that.

I do hope Quebec gets a few of those probowl slots this season. Not just on the 2nd team. And I second Valakar with his comments, that Zeta is weaker but we do have a couple of fearsome opponents in the conference. Mainly Valencia and Antwerp, but a few good game planners that have their team playing better than expected, like Hamburg, Dresden...
