Ok....
Anyway, this morning, GE is reporting pretty good news on the earning front and basically everybody(not politicians but actual money people in the market) are claiming that his is a market not acting on fundamentals anymore. Even CNN headline news is now reporting that people are acting more on fear than on any sound reason. Go figure. Fear and unfounded speculation is driving this market down.
Once again, everything isn't near as bad as it looks, not even close. I think you'll be surprised when Q3 GDP results are released.

The media certainly doesn't help the fear. I almost wonder if they thrive on making things worse so they have more to report on. The media is one of the biggest drivers of popular decision and they usually report about nothing positive!

It isn't misrepresenting, it's sentence scrambling. They take your quotes and take away and combine them to make you "say something you didn't" even though they were actual quotes. Hard to understand if you have never lived it, but that's exactly what they do. Positive stuff doesn't keep them in business.

Actually good solid reporting used to be the standard to get recognition. Journalism is dead as we know it. Very few fact finders out there. Mostly people with an agenda which is why I haven't paid for a newspaper in years (that and the internet
