I do think our next game with Iowa will be much closer for a few reasons.

BBE went out and purchased a brand new defense basically. Unprecedented level of upgrades compared to the other teams...I'd expect them to win this season, if they dont it's an incredible ownership failure tbh.

I'm not trying to say this is a bad thing by any means...just certain teams upgrade when they have to. In my case, I had a lot of inactives (and still have some off and on active people) that needed to be replaced during this past offseason. Other teams upgrade over current starters. I do my best to avoid this, and whether or not this keeps us competitive, I take pride in keeping as many of the original Fortress members from season 3 when we were a former gutted team on the rebound.

One of my starting DEs, Vigilante Justice, is one of these originals who has risen through the ranks to secure his starting role for this season. Now he may not quite be at the level your level 30+ DEs are that you purchased, but I take a tremendous amount of pride in examples like him on my team, because he's an original who's worked hard to earn his starting job, and with people working that hard we're a #3 team right now.

Well as the owner of 3/4ths of that upgraded Dline, both DEs, and the NT, id like to say they werent purchased, 2 seasons ago, he recruited Shaq, and i was very impressed by the team, and the PM i recieved, and after seeing how he changed Shaqs career around dramatically, I asked brit if wanted/needed any of my other guys who were FAs last offseason, to help the team get further b/c i liked the way the team was run. I can respect that your DE justice has earned his spot though.

That's just an incredible amount of luck that you can secure 3/4 of your d-line from a single agent in this current trend of GLB, where the d-line can make or break a team.

I consider myself a really good owner, and I think my guys would agree. I work extremely hard for them too, and that's how we've come to where we are since our first season...but my chips haven't fallen to me in a situation where I can talk to one single agent and end up with 75% of my d-line.

Sahara has been fortunate because a lot of our agents have brought over more of there players after having a player on the team for a season. The agents just like the tea, that much that they wanna their other players to join.

We've had a lot of this go on here as well, just in scattered, unrelated positions throughout the team. This still definitely makes the team stronger, but it's harder to get everyone on the same page when it comes to game planning and such...but I enjoy the challenge =)

Recruiting guys with alot of players is something I really try to do. That way after a season of being on your team and realizing its run better than 95% of the teams out there, they want all their guys on the team.

Some of these guys spends hundreds of dollars every month or 2 on this game. As an owner I try to give them the most amount of fun I can, while providing them with a place they can grow.

Also the fact that all my players know I won't fuck them over by trading/benching/cutting, or whatever else an owner can do to fuck a player over.

If your a player and your spending good money on the game, would you rather go to an owner you can trust/knows what he's doing, or try your luck in FA.

QFT

A lot of the players on the team I own, own teams themselves or have formerly, and have multiple players. They all love playing on the Assassins, none of them want to leave, and some want to bring more players to the team, but since none want to leave I don't always have spots.

I NEVER recruit anyone who has just 1 player, pretty much try not to recruit anyone with less than 3 players on their account, unless I talk to them and can trust they are boosters. I do have 1 DT who is only the 1 player on the account, but I know him, and he is fine getting basically ST playing time

I have plenty of agents on my team with more than one player as well, all I'm saying is that it's one thing to secure an agent with multiple players, and another to secure 3/4 of one of the most important positions in the game from the same agent. Consider yourself lucky is all I'm saying, and after all the talk BBE has done this season and the upgrades you purchased, anything less than a championship is an epic fail by the ownership and any GMs.

Nice set up. I will add:

...after all the talk BBE has done this season and the upgrades you purchased, anything less than a championship is because of MaRAWK!!o.

You are not prepared for the MaRAWK!!olypse.
