I think Mcgovern made the rankings before the Bombers started picking up players for the season. I really don't see you guys being 15th in the west this season.

Yes, the rankings came out even before the preseason scrimmage games! I will do recaps at weeks 4, 8, 12, and a pre-playoffs selection as well.

What you mean you are not going to do a rankings for every week. Scarlett would be disappointed.

I can tell you one thing...watching the replay of the Austin vs. Silverymoon game, Austin pretty much gave that game away. Goalline offense running the ENTIRE 1st half, including going for it on every 4th down, giving away field possession to Silverymoon and then holding the Elves' offense to only 6 pts. in the first half. I don't know if something happened with their AI or they were trying to catch Silverymoon in it's goalline defense and break a long run on them or what. Regardless, Austin is a phenomenal team and despite that poor planning still had a very close game with a team that I considered to be one of the top 3 teams in the West this season. With a cake schedule, Austin will be 3-1 going into a tough week 5 matchup where we'll have a chance to see how they do against another top team in the league. Very interesting decision by Austin...i'm STILL shocked! Nevertheless, they showed commitment to a lopsided offensive attack which was what the Chicago Pterydactyls did in the playoffs all last season--but Chicago didn't do it just loading up on goalline running, and they mixed in short WR passes on 4th & 3.5+ situations, converting a lot of 4th downs into 1st downs through the air. We'll see if Austin makes some adjustments and rights the ship for their week 5 matchup with (if I remember correctly) a very tough Buffalo team.

Good win to Spicewood. We made too many mistakes on offense and shot ourselves in the foot at every turn.

Thanks for that. I trapped myself in my room for almost a week trying to add some good players. Its so hard. No Free Agents want to join. How am I supposed to get better, if no freakin good players want to join LOL

Well I think I hit the jackpot with my QB Jay Cutler, my HB Neil Down & Jeremy Roenick, and my offense in general. We are ranked #2 in the division right now.

I just need to improve my defense and try and get some players to replace the guys I got hosed with in trades, due to their expiring contracts. I appreciate the love from the league ranking us higher, I want to win.

If not this season, I will win next. I want to compete this year at the very least.

A solid running game and run defense have Tucson rounding out my top eight, but a spotty and at-times inefficient passing game prevent them from climbing the ranks any further. I like the depth that these guys bring to the table, and we'll see how they make the transition to A7. I predict they'll go 9-7 and fight for the #8 seed in the playoffs.

You were much too generous. We have some kind of curse on us or something. Three of our four losses have been by a total of 5 points. I am hating the A7.

Yeah, Spicewood was in a similar position last season...the top teams in A7 are all competitive and any given day...

The A7 West is a very competative division. There are 10 teams that can all compete for playoff spots. That is 10 team that could win pretty much any given day. That is why I am looking at the elves and giving much credit to thier winning streak. This is a VERY tough place to play.
