How? That team will do nothing in this league, ever. Nor will he add anything of use to the league, ever.

It may take a few years but our team will be there. Just because we know we will get killed the first few years is not a big deal to us. There are gutted teams starting over in pro and every other division out there. If it wasnt us someone else would have gutted the team you quit on.

Bort has said after season 10 players will be forced to retire/start sucking.

Thus, this grand idea that slowbuilding this late in the first 'season' is a waste of time. By the time you are ready to compete everyone else will have droped to the floor, leaving you time to advanced back to this league, just in time for your players to fall off.

So yeah enjoy sucking, then winning in a lower league for 1-2 season, only to see all the other players fall off the face of the earth, then get rebuilt correctly knowing the system and you will get shit stomped even worse than you will these first two seasons.

I didnt realize we were the only team or players that started up in season 5. My bad, how naive of me. What you fail to realize is that we already have 3 winning teams together and wanted another one. We dont care that your players will suck even more then they do after season 10. Buy some more players of your own and stop coming up with lame ass theories about how we will win when the other teams start declining. The other teams probably wont even be in this league as they have the ability to elevate their respective teams to the next level unlike yourself. It is probably good that you quit on your team so you wouldn't be the scrub team losing to teams like mine in 5 years stuck in the same division.

Actually dumbass, he said after your player has PLAYED 10 seasons that he will start to loose stats and go downhill, not after Season 10.

I don't think any of us are trying to rip on you. I happen to want to see all the teams in the league strong both on the field and financially.

My opinion is you missed the boat by a season by not finishing the 2nd Level.

We sold $12,300,000 in tickets last night and have only sold one of our games out so far. We still have 10,000 2nd Level Corner seats left to sell for 6 of our games, 10,000 1st Level corner seats for 3 games, 7500 lower endzone seats for 4 games, 8400 lower 2nd Deck sideline seats for 5 games, and we haven't filled in the sections yet.

I'm guessing we'll sell close to $25,000,000 in tickets this season and the concessions will take care of our salaries.

You've been trying to get me to discuss it since early in the offseason. I'm not trying to be defensive about it's just not a big deal to me. We spent exactly the amount of money we wanted to and knew exactly what we were doing. If you look back over the past few seasons you'll see that we've had as big or bigger bank roll than anyone else in this league since we got here so we're not hurting for cash and just wanted to make sure we had what we needed to cover equip first since we have a lot of guys that will hit the 32 mark very soon and it costs almost a million per player. You gotta remember that we still haven't completely overcome the player level difference in some key areas so every extra skill point helps, and I really want another shot at the Conf title. Since we don't really sign free agents we have to get the most out of the players we have and that's more important to us right now than the extra seats.

We've still got a ton of cash to play with and haven't even sold all of our tickets or racked up any concession sales yet. We'll max out our level 2 sections in the upcoming offseason since there's no equipment costs to worry about. The results will be the same but it's just a different way of approaching it, so saying we missed the boat is just not an accurate statement from where we stand.

I appreciate everyone's concern but we've got it under control.

hydro- we had some discussion/concern on our boards that y'all might have been Ike hit and missed some deadlines as was the case w/ my bro-in-law's team... legit concerns that you were screwed by momma nature... we still love ya' man
