If the day kill role kills town day 1, like you did, and the careers kill off the day kill person N1, which almost happened, that would give them the game. If the Careers could recruit, then there could be more people out there, which could explain why there was no night kill, because they met up with someone and instead of attacking they recruited them. Although you did say that someone did try to knife you, so maybe they can't recruit. I've never met anyone at the cornucopia, so I'm not sure how that works and whether two normal tributes would have a choice of fighting or teaming up or having a "peaceful" meeting.

Really, start with 6 in a game with only 13 people, and a day kill role? If the day kill role kills town day 1, like you did, and the careers kill off the day kill person N1, which almost happened, that would give them the game. If the Careers could recruit, then there could be more people out there, which could explain why there was no night kill, because they met up with someone and instead of attacking they recruited them. Although you did say that someone did try to knife you, so maybe they can't recruit.
