Yea our recent game against them was a good game until the second half. 14-6 going in, we missed 73 total tackles in the game and got blown out 77-6. A DC's worst nightmare.

Sounds familiar. I kept his Pwr HBs in check till they started firing the 2nd and 4th Qtr Break Tackle SAs, lol.
When I reset, after my guys hit decline, my next team is going to have two power backs, lol.

I built better tacklers at the expense of better deflectors this time through. The JoaT CBs have speed/agility/strength/tackling as majors, which means I'm going to suffer with lower jumping and vision. The hope was that as the builds mature I'll be able to force fumbles/make tackles/break blocks/knock loose better with these builds than the traditional defenders would.

The only thing I worry about is route fakes and catch fakes. We will see how those builds do against all that power running the next time I get a shot at the chiefs.

No Doubt. With this team, I hope I have enough different types of skill players to be effective whatever is the sim favorite for that season. My problem is it takes me till the playoffs to figure out what works. I have to hope I'm still in contention by then.

I'm sure you'll do better than me but I tried that and just kept getting burned. I always have one CB who is better at tackling but I rarely play him in anything other than CB4 or CB5.

I've done this as well (rookie team started up last season) and I think if they get vision into the 80's get some Super Vision SA and an Avoid Fake % AEQ piece they should do relatively fine on the fakes. You have to have Safeties over the top no matter what once the fakes start firing so it is what it is. The higher Strength and Tackling as a base was a need for my defense as well.

Is Avoid Fake % worth it? Like most things on GLB, I know there are varied opinions, but I've only used it in the past when desperately rolling for AEQ and having wasted too many BTs.

I feel it is at higher levels if you don't like giving up the big play.
