Earlier this evening I was flipping channels at the gym and found a Southpark where Cartman was teaching a girl in his class how to play "Lambs"! Wow--that show is just amazing in short bursts!

it goes in spurts. ive avoiding P&R for a while. it got out of control with some dumb shit

Whelp, it looks as if my career as a mechanic is close to being done due to my brain injury/car accident. The doctors advised me to find a different occupation as soon as possible. Since I had major head trauma and almost died, the chemicals that I'm exposed to all day could end up fucking my brain up for good.

Surely there's some middle ground somewhere. Couldn't you manage a shop or do anything not requiring working directly with/near chemicals? Perhaps you could be an adviser of some sort

Service advisor? Those guys get paid nothing. I'd be taking a severe pay cut, and my salary would be around 35k a year if I was your average service advisor. That salary will get you nowhere in the Seattle area. Yes, it could potentially get you into management, but even then you're in a very vulnerable position. Sometimes dealerships fire their managers for no apparent reason, even shops that are successful.

The managers, and the service advisors are the whipping boys (or girls) of the auto industry. They get shit on by the customers, the owners, the parts department, everybody. It's a vicious chain of shit, and at my old shop there were 2 techs that apparently made more than the manager due to the flat rate system.

I guess I could complete my engineering degree....... yuck

Doctors will err on the safe side. They want to do no harm, oh yeah and they do not want to be sued for malpractice. my 2 cents.

Its nearly impossible to win a malpractice suit n everyone knows this...

Pithy... aside from the regular remedies prescribed by your doctor (Im curious what that may be) what diet, vitamin, excercise or 'other' remedy have you done yourself?

There is a difference between loosing a malpractice lawsuit, and having one filed.
