At least with the pass angle being increased over the line we don't have to worry about those pesky defensive line deflections anymore

That surprises me. Pocket Awareness is how you "feel" the pressure and make the throw. ie NOT take the Sack.
Consistency for Hurries and 3rd Down
Pocket Awareness to avoid Sacks
Pass Awareness for checkdowns
Of course, on top of:
Pass Tech to lower drops
Pass Accuracy for less INTS and more completions
Pass Power to arc those long throws
S* QB has become a need. Again.
S* WR is now viable (vs. S* TE's everywhere) as well as S* CBs to stop them.
It's going to be fun seeing the choices everyone makes.

I don't think pocket awareness is a factor anymore.
Also the biggest change is with rec awareness. Needs 80+ now

Short throws? Long throws? All throws?
Kind of makes sense in that great cover CBs typically have 80+ Man/Zone Awareness.

I have always done packet awareness 45 at least. I was taught by rob and sov that pocket awareness was the way to avoid the blitz and get the ball out. But that doesn't seem to be enough still.
Rec awareness 80+ is going to make some builds really hard to move around for sure. But I think Bo is right, if you get 80+ rec awareness you can react to the pass well again.

Is packet awareness similar to packet loss?

It’s how I don’t take sacks. Our Oline isn’t that good imo, our QB is just has a little houdini in his dna

Opened build Dred.
Also adding in for the S* CB discussion. Honestly opens up the defensive possibilities. I’ve never had to double (man or over the top help) in my run, even in our meh J-man season (probably should’ve, but meh).
Also averaged a pick per game through our offseason scrims with a lot of end zone plays and deep ball plays.
I’d definitely say S* WRs with noodle arm QBs won’t exactly be the happiest. Even if they are 6’6 (and especially against man D with help).
Prime Time fire rate along the field is up, don’t need a full season to tell me that. Pass power is looking pretty dope.

5 interceptions later and we have the throw he’s been meaning to make. Deadman will definitely have more mid sized WRs from now on. Rocket arm, ball slinging bandits at center only.
Kansas City Offense baby, f it.

Build looks pretty good, 19 INT is nice for a season but also on 348 targets. He has similiar Target-to-completion rate as my standard CB with more INT. I still dont believe in Coverage Tech. But he worked great with it so its a personal opinion versus no facts there. I wonder if his footwork was higher could he get even more INT.

My brother's S*CB used a decent bit of Cov Tech, worked fairly well in Dream's last run. https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/334857

It’s at 83 with cover expert firing along with 88 quickness plus the other extra goodies and then when all 3 are fired it’s bliss. I will say that I was expecting to be better underneath / short, but he typically gives those away and then turn into a freak when backed up (assuming it’s an awareness + consistency thing since our SS is like that as well). Fairly nice on deep balls and mid. My problem is the picks thing as well, hopefully that picks up now that arc is better and he can use his skillset better. Always “defense was there”. Nice, but we’re here for the stats
Eh, I’ve always used cover tech so I never have to worry about high physical guys & head fake. I don’t think it’s really needed that high with what you have with man SAs, but I’m testing a route cutter. We did well pre arc against pass, but i’m hoping to see what DBs can do now that they need to be in better position.
