Man, those are some pretty bad passing percentages.

LZ's QB had a good game vs Gilwice's Zone D... 65% comp, 1 TD, no picks, and almost 200 yards is solid.

Best game was vs Zone, lol

And I'm throwing a lot more short passes to make up for my noodle arm QB (Pass Power 9).

What exactly did they do to pass power? I couldn't find it in the change log. I know they changed the angle trajectory for long passes for high pass power. But was pass power, on short to mid-range passes effected?

It seems like the changes buffed QBs with high pass power (to throw over the LBs) but didn't nerf QBs with low pass power?

Did this:

"Reverted previous "minimum pass angle" sim change, and replaced it with a more elegant solution that scales min angle more realistically, based on pass distance and placement. This should mainly affect high pass power QB's, who can now throw loftier passes at more distant targets, instead of just firing bullets at the lowest angle possible every time (often directly at defenders underneath)."

Revert the pocket awareness check?

Higher pass power was rewarded, lower was penalized when it comes to deflections. Passing angle was improved across the board, and it now is higher based on distance

Yes. But I think it was based on a Pass Awareness check, which the typical QB build has very little of (I know I use a whopping 25 on mine) that led to lots of failed checks when throwing over the middle before the roll back, at least as far as I could tell in those couple games.

Added small modifier to pass deflection chance based on pass velocity similar to what is already applied to interception chance. Low pass velocity makes it easier to deflect, high makes it harder. (This happens after an interception roll attempt has already failed)

Pre-rollback it was based on Pocket Awareness, but for the current version it doesn't say anything.

- QB's minimum pass angle increased when passing over the line, if he passes a pocket awareness check

Could be Pass Aware or could be Pocket Aware. I'd guess Pocket Aware since that was the original check but Bort could have done anything.

Shouldn't a 45 yard (in the air) flag pass not have to worry about jumping LBs? Now double coverage may have to be looked at on these longer passes once we start seeing people throw more bombs.

Not sure that's the direct effect but it could be a derivative effect. What I mean is that lower completions cause lower morale for QBs. Lower QB morale leads to more INTs.

But it's from cover skills by CBs and the CBs are getting them. Not enough throws yet to compare the data and see if the average has shifted due to code changes or game effects.

The pass is faster hits them in stride better. Frazier tosses ducks right now and it’s behind the receivers

Pocket Awareness isn't much better for prob 80% of the QB builds on this game, most people ignore it.
