the argument is that the "best teams in the game" already have a trophy to fight for (wl trophy). The other pro leagues are the ones who say "seapl is best, not apl is best, no usapl is" kinda stuff where a traveling trophy makes sense.
It is kinda silly when Bonn challenges people from their own conference they have already played for a title defense. Just makes more sense for pro teams to play for it.
