I don't think there are a lot of teams laying low, tbh. At this point everyone pretty much knows what everyone else is capable of doing.

I always thought intentionally sandbagging was pretty stupid anyway. I'll admit there have been seasons where I phoned in part of the regular season and might have dropped one or two games because of it (mostly S31). I've never used generic AIs throughout the season, though. Personally, I would rather not be a low seed in the playoffs if I can avoid it. lol

I hear you. I try to get the highest playoff seed possible. If I lay low for a game, it means I screwed up the tagging or the AI.

Most of our early season woes were a combination of low chem and transition with our offense. We will make up some ground with what I believe is going to be a 4 game win streak coming up. Going to be a tough second half of the season coming up but I still think we're in the hunt. There's a lot of dotball left to be played and there are a number of different scenarios that can play out.

The only thing I'm sure of at this point is it's going to be an interesting battle for the 6-8 playoff spots. One thing that helps us is two of our losses were to teams that are probably not in that mix so we still have some wiggle room with tie-breakers.

Looking at the standings I believe there are still 11 teams that legitimately have a chance to make the playoffs. Keep in mind the Aggies only have one win but they have played arguably the toughest schedule up to this point. Tons of room for them to make a big mid-season/late season comeback.

They shouldn't have punted when they were on our 31, and running the HB Screen Weak 22x was a bit much

This is starting to look like one of those seasons an 8 win team makes the playoffs.
