Phoenix Retirees
Backfield: B+ 2 QBs, 2 HBs, 1 FB: A settled situation at QB turns interesting as a 2nd is added to the mix. A new S* at HB could mean improvement in this area
Receivers: A- 5 WR, 2 TE: A full receiving complement with high chem and only two CPUs. Could ease the low chem QB's transition.
Line: A 3 G, 2 T, 2 C: A hefty line with multiple non-CPU agents. The only weakness is the lack of depth at tackle

Front 7: B 4 DT, 5 DE, 5 LB: Lots of bodies on the front will do wonders for energy but will dilute the plays taken by the talented players. The LB corp is a highlight
Secondary: D+ 1 FS, 0 SS, 4 CB: A disastrous lack of depth, along with 2 CPUs, means that the secondary will struggle

Special Teams: A 1 K, 1 P: Both agents are non-CPU, a good sign for the ST game

GPA: 3.15

Cincinnati Dinosaurs
Backfield:C- 2 QB, 1 HB, 0 FB: Lacking in the backfield. QB Bolt, while not a strong passer, may need to create yards on the ground
Receivers: C+ 5 WR, 1 TE: Good depth at WR but a lack of non-CPU talent, along with weaker QBs, point to passing struggles
Line: B- 3 T, 2 G, 2 C: Coverage enough on the line, but mostly CPU players. Not a strong unit.

Front 7: B 4 DT, 3 DE, 4 LB: A solid if not spectacular unit. More non-CPU than most of the team. Good individual performers.
Secondary: C+ 6 CB, 2 FS, 0 SS: Lots of depth, but not quality depth. Will give up passing yards.

Special Teams: F 0 K, 0 P: Will be interesting to see who handles the kicking duties here

GPA: 2.18

Hartford Walkers
Backfield: A 1 QB, 2 HB, 0 FB: New S* Bernie Sanders leads two established backs. No FB means some questions on the depth chart.
Receivers: B+ 8 WR, 2 TE: So many WRs is a double edged sword, but the non-CPU players are solid. A S* TE answers some questions about who will be the main target.
Line: B 4 G, 2 C, 2 T: Not enough tackles but enough depth to handle that challenge.

Front 7: B 4 DT, 3 DE, 4 LB: A good mix of players, but limited depth against the pass and outside run.
Secondary: A 7 CB, 2 SS, 1 FS: Healthy amount of CBs with quality players at the top. 2 SS, including the best CPU SS there is. Strong unit.

Special Teams: F 0 K, 0 P Better hope their games don't come down to a FG

GPA: 3.15

Leeds Chartered Accountants
Backfield: A+: Established quality QB. Added 4x MVP HB and a FB that seems to be well rounded. Best backfield in the league!
Receivers: C: 2 TE, 2 WR: TEs are good but WR depth is a major concern. It will be interesting to see who handles the WR4 and WR5 position; their new HB has over 2500 receiving yards the past two seasons.
Line: A+: 3 G, 4 T, 3 C: Incredible depth with non-CPUs at all the starting positions. A powerful line for their rushing attack

Front 7: A+: 3 DT, 4 DE, 7 LB: Depth is again crucial, with no CPU players at any position. A S* DT and a HOF DE are the icing on the cake.
Secondary: B+: 5 CB, 2 FS, 1 SS: Lots of CPUs, but enough depth to compete. Good quality human players like CB CB CB.

Special Teams: A-: 1 K: Only the kicker, but the K is a S* who hit 3 from 50+ last season.

GPA: 3.43

Predicted finish:
1. Leeds
2. Hartford
3. Phoenix
4. Cincinnati

Beta Preview

Houston Slugs
Backfield: B 2 QB, 3 HB, 1 FB: Decent QBs and a full backfield get them a good rating. Nothing spectacular about the Slugs here.
Receivers: C 6 WR, 2 TE: A full receiving complement but mostly CPUs. Only the TE is a non CPU receiver.
Line: D 2 G, 1 T, 2 C: Only 5 linemen means a permanent OOP penalty and no relief for tired linemen. A recipe for disaster.

Front 7: C- 2 DT, 2 DE, 4 LB: Barely scraping by with the minimum of players but again, energy issues will be pronounced.
Secondary: A- 2 FS, 1 SS, 6 CB: Good depth of mostly CPUs, but includes the best corner in GLB2 SL right now

Special Teams: C 1 K, 0 P: CPU K will have to handle all punting duties as well

GPA: 2.25

Saskatoon Sleepers
Backfield:A- 1 QB, 2 HB, 2 FB: Strong HBs and a superfluous FB, but the QB lacks chemistry. Only area with depth on O
Receivers: D 2 WR, 0 TE: They're going to have to play defenders in offensive positions due to lack of depth. This is bad.
Line: B+ 3 T, 2 G, 2 C: Decent depth and quality non-CPUs, but still not the best line

Front 7: B+ 3 DT, 2 DE, 8 LB: A lack of balance holds back an otherwise strong defensive front. The lack of quality DEs is particularly concerning.
Secondary: A- 5 CB, 0 FS, 2 SS: Enough players, and good enough quality players, to defend well against the pass

Special Teams: A+ 1 K, 1 P: Gold standard for SL Special Teams

GPA: 3.09

Louisville Rollers
Backfield: A- 2 QB, 2 HB, 1 FB: New QB shakes up an established backfield. Quality players all around though
Receivers: C 3 WR, 1 TE: Hopefully they stick with the I formation because their WR/TE depth is weak
Line: B 2 G, 2 C, 2 T: Depth is poor, but the players in the team are solid

Front 7: A- 4 DT, 3 DE, 5 LB: Good depth and a strong S* DE joining the team.
Secondary: A- 4 CB, 2 SS, 2 FS: The extra safeties should help with the weak CB depth

Special Teams: A- 1 K, 1 P: They need to build chem, but a good foundation with 2 ST players

GPA: 3.29

Jacksonville Grandpas
Backfield: A: 2 QB, 3 HB, 1 FB: Full depth chart in the backfield, with both QBs at 100 chem. Could rival Leeds here.
Receivers: D: 0 TE, 2 WR: Huge problems foreseeable without any receiving depth. Unless they run Diamond every game they're in trouble.
Line: A-: 2 G, 4 T, 2 C: Good depth and some decent non-CPUs to boot! A hidden gem.

Front 7: B-: 4 DT, 2 DE, 5 LB: Lack of DE depth is a potential problem as is the large number of CPUs. Good depth overall though
Secondary: B+: 5 CB, 3 FS, 1 SS: Good amount of depth with some decent non-CPUs thrown in

Special Teams: C-: 1 K: Only the kicker, who is a CPU with low chem

GPA: 2.83

Predicted finish:

Gamma Preview

Nashville Naps
Backfield: A 2 QB, 3 HB, 1 FB: Good QBs and HBs (1 S*), with good chem, plus Full Frontal. What more could you want?
Receivers: C+ 3 WR, 1 TE: Poor depth but a S* TE to bring down passes, which can change everything.
Line: C- 3 G, 2 T, 2 C: All CPU and no depth outside the C.

Front 7: C 3 DT, 4 DE, 4 LB: Decent depth but not great quality of players. A few non-CPUs.
Secondary: A- 0 FS, 1 SS, 7 CB: Better hope some of those CBs can play FS or they will have trouble against the pass

Special Teams: D 0 K, 1 P: Their punter went 1 for 13 on FGs last year, and he's alone again.

GPA: 2.58

Washington Wrinkles
Backfield:A+ 2 QB, 3 HB, 2 FB: More depth than they know what to do with. The S* QB should be a big boost this season
Receivers: B 4 WR, 1 TE: A little thin, but quality players. Hopefully the FBs can catch!
Line: B+ 2 T, 3 G, 2 C: All good non-CPU players, just lacking some depth.

Front 7: B+ 2 DT, 3 DE, 4 LB: Not the deepest D-Line, but very good players on it. The LB corp is small but stout.
Secondary: A+ 5 CB, 3 FS, 2 SS: Great depth and quality, the best secondary in the Senior League this season.

Special Teams: B 1 K: A returning 79 chem kicker that went 14/18 last year.

GPA: 3.47

Eugene Elderly
Backfield: A 3 QB, 3 HB, 1 FB: 3 QBs, but at least they all have 100 chem. 3 HBs and a FB make for a crowded, but good, backfield.
Receivers: B+ 3 WR, 2 TE: Short on depth but long on quality. They may need some of those HBs to step up as receivers.
Line: B+ 2 G, 1 C, 3 T: The Elderly make up for lack of depth with experience and skill. A good line.

Front 7: A+ 3 DT, 3 DE, 6 LB: Excellent depth, 2 S* DTs, and strong non-CPUs everywhere you look. Top notch D.
Secondary: B 5 CB, 0 SS, 3 FS: The weaker side of the team due to lack of depth and more CPUs. Still strong.

Special Teams: A+ 1 K, 1 P: Good full chem non-CPUS.

GPA: 3.56

It looks like this is Xars team. So my Kicker left and joined the Hartford Walkers! (Moved from New York to Connecticut)

NY won't be a Xars team for several seasons. I have some OLine I'm adding this season, but other positions are multi-seasons away.

This is what came up when my Legend tries to request contracts from Senior League. There are teams that have a QB spot and others that have the salary space to take on a 12mil S* QB.

Frustrating. What up? Earlier this morning he received only 1 contract.

Try again.. Nashville just had a QB spot open up.

It seems with all the new CPU changes there's a lot more parity in the league. Lots of close, intense matches; for my money, Leeds vs. Hartford was the best. Kicking myself that my HB couldn't bring this one in: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/378946/87158
