i hung out there a lot in my younger years(along with Boone of course). they had the good pot WAY before any other cities had it. now i just drive through Asheville on my way to Cherokee

Any thoughts on nice places to stay in the Asheville area? I wouldn't mind a weekend getaway to the mountains there. Preferring furnished cabins as opposed to hotels.

Gaitlinburg TN is better. There's Dollywood, and a ton of other stuff there.
