It is a cool material though
Yeah but then again, if I worked on that project I would be all over huffington post about it too

I know you are like a diesel engine and requires alot of time before you get going but that was a lame comeback and I know you can do better. Stop disappinteing me with your half assed comebacks and pull out the good stuff already.
If I were those kids, I'd continue to do exactly what they had been doing. I don't know what prosecutor is going to be willing to run this case or what judge will force them to pay any sort of fine.
Of course, I live in the land of snow and ice, so maybe I'm just predisposed to a justice system that would support the kids.
I mean, you knew the old people who lived on your street. You knew that they weren't going to be able to shovel the snow themselves, nor could they afford to pay much, so you would give them a deal. That's how I made some extra cash when I was 10 years old.
I remember when my family used to live in nj, my older brother decided it would be fun to ride their dirt bikes through the center of town, they ripped up grass and cost thousands of 1980 dollars, the town wouldn't allow my parents to make them fix it, they wouldn't allow my parents to pay for the damages, they had work release prisoners fix the damages, and i'm sure the taxpayers paid for the damages.

how can the town prevent a person from having someone else repair their property?
That dipshit should definitely have been prosecuted but that sentence is beyond ridiculous. It seems like the prosecution and the court went a little overzealous to explain shooting an innocent person when there was actually no threat. I get that they have to take the threats seriously but coming in shooting at the first person in the house is stupid, and when someone says "if cops enter I will kill them", you should probably do some recon first instead of entering.
The kid should have been forced to pay full medical bills, legal bills, and further restitution for fucking someone's life up for no reason, on top of a few weeks in jail. 25-life is not justifiable by any means.
