It also becomes an early talking point when dating. When you figure out their student loans/credit card debt you need to run.

Hey now an Art History degree is an excellent qualification to teach other people seeking art history degrees.

But yeah people are getting stupider as they get older. I'd trust the 13 year old version of most of these morons more than I trust them now

You should see some of the guys I worked with at the dealership. They all drove 30-40 thousand dollar cars, had 100k worth of tools that were bought on credit (most of those being top of the line snap on tools). Christ, most of them had toolboxes that were worth 24 thousand dollars alone! I got laughed at by my coworkers for my Harbor Freight Tool Box, but you know what? I only paid around 1200 for the whole set, and it's just a little smaller than the 24 thousand dollar snap on set.

Most of them bitched and moaned that they had no money, and about their shitty living situations.

The elitism that goes on in some dealerships is insane. You must have snap-on tools or you are not a legitimate technician, you must have a big ass name brand tool-box (Snap-On, MAC, MATCO), you must have the most expensive scan tool available on the market, you must have a nice car to impress the other guys.

It's retarded.

To give you some perspective a snap on wrench can cost up to 125 dollars for just one box end wrench. Now, just imagine for a second that you need set of those in every standard size. It adds up quickly.

"Bubble-filled rubbery coatings may one day help make submarines virtually undetectable to sonar, researchers say.

To avoid detection by sonar, military submarines are often covered with sound-absorbing tiles called anechoic coatings. These perforated rubber tiles are typically about 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) thick."

Because a nuclear submarine isn't scary enough already.

Canada's military should try putting that material on their canoes.

Researchers at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and the California Institute of Technology have confirmed that aerial pollution originating in Asia affects cloud development over North America and tends to strengthen extra-tropical cyclones — the storms which strongly influence weather patterns over North America on a weekly basis through the winter and spring.
This GEOS-5 (Goddard Earth Observing System Model) animation of global atmospheric aerosols vividly illustrates the issues.

That's definitely how to keep things hidden. Publish a paper/article and tell your enemies exactly how you're going to hide.

It is a cool material though
