I am going to have to disagree with Phil on this one, JD and Gart finally got one right, Nickel Back is an amazing band, and if there was ever any doubt about how good the nickel was - the fact every national radio station plays them incessantly removes any doubt of what was left in anyone with logic's mind. The fact is - when you have sold over 30 million records you're greatly talented, and if you're telling me people buy garbage - me Gart and JD know that its just not true... The fact is - Nickel back is great, and the proof is in how often radio stations play them, they just don't play music that isn't the best.

It's really not that simple. I wish it were, but it's not. Is someone who sells millions of records and gets lots of radio play talented if they didn't write their song themselves, didn't play any of the instruments, and then had their voice auto tuned? Not in my opinion. Nickelback are great because they've achieved such huge success while doing everything themselves, and by doing everything their way.
