The point was that a waitress is most likely the only thing you would question iRL because she isn't an authority figure.

How is this an argument? Your whole crew is united in your front on this issue. When you share a brain I guess it is easy to remain united. I sure as hell don't expect to change your mind and you shouldn't expect to change mine.

And for the record, it was you who brought up standing up to all authority, which CV correctly rebutted was an absurd statement using several real life examples.

Also, I don't tend to make a habit of being intentionally disrespectful to individuals responsible for the creation or handling of items I am about to consume, I know too many people who have worked in restaurants or bars to make that mistake.
